I'm not a big BMW licker but I love these old 5-series. They just look so 'right', spesh the rear 3/4 view. The proportions could not be better. This one's a 525E which I would love to try out, how can a 2.5 straight six and auto box ever be an economy model? I suppose its no more mental than a 2.1-ton Lexus SUV which is also a 'hybrid'. Quite a lot less mental in fact.

I know we've seen this before, but have another look. Its just beyond amazing. Look at that rear spoiler!!!! He's got it on back to front for a start, in the unlikely event of this thing ever getting up to speed it might make a small contribution to the total 'upforce'. SHITE

Christ its so fucking hideous I literally am unable to believe my eyes, and am now convinced they are lying to me. I'm starting to wonder what else they have lied to me about in the past. I am going to give them till tomorrow to 'fess up and if they refuse I shall deactivate them with lasers. YOU BASTARDS I HAVE BEEN RELYING ON YOU FOR 38 YEARS AND YOU'VE BEEN LYING ALL THIS TIME, SOME OF THOSE LASSES I MET IN THE STUDENTS UNION MIGHT HAVE BEEN QUITE DECENT LOOKING ACTUALLY AND NOW ITS TOO LATE

I think there'll be some kind of negative feedback sytem that comes into effect. Once 'uplift' velocity is achieved the rear wheels will start to loose grip as they are lifted from the tarmac - so the speed drops and the tyres 'touchdown' again. Progress will resemble that of those 'clown' bikes with the offset rear hub resulting in the rear end bobbing up and down. It's actually a clever* speed restrictor.

Interestingly* if you type 'gurn' into google images 50% of the results are of Steve McDonald off of Corrie. Now if you don't mind I need to go delete that picture from my hard drive ...

I got offered that Orion for £800 a couple of years ago, apparently it's not all that nice in reality.
