Ah, I wonder if it's just a dual-control brake pedal and the cable's been disconnected and pulled out, on closer inspection it looks like the end is hooked loosely on to the plastic trim underneath the steering wheel.

What are those Carlton wheels off? Not seen them on a Carlton before. Rare indeed, never see Carltons about anymore. My dad had three of them in the 90s, one a late L plate too.

Looks like those alloys fitted to Corsas in the mid 90's as a dealer accessory (but wrong stud pattern). Could they be Irmscher [sp?] or similar? I'm no Voxhaul perv, but I'm quite good at wheels.
