Be still, my beating heart!

A Morris Major Elite, one of the best Australian cars ever made. If this were a bit closer, I'd be all over it like a cheap suit.

Where exactly is the Bellend residence? PhilibusMo delivery service just possibly may be available.

I'm in Melbourne.

Is there such a thing as prospective-buyer's remorse?  Not really sure I want to buy a car sight-unseen.

But thanks awfully for your kind offer.

Let me know if you change your mind. I'm only a few hours south and will be in Melbourne in about a month or so and need to sell my BA Fairlane at some point, so don't mind selling in Brisbane and completing the trip in something far less suitable.

Early Car with Later Wheel Trims. I not like.

Rivet counter! ;) If I bought this it'd be wearing 15" Corsa C steels pronto...

Course you do, where's the fun in knowing what you're getting into beforehand?  It's like Christmas.  Sort of.

Meanwhile, I reckon this is the early mk2 Cavalier of choice:

I half fancy it myself, but am too full already.

I have never heard of those MG coupe things before, what a fuggin' horrorshow!

Peter Stevens is a lovely bloke and everything, but somebody should really have a word with him about that styling disaster. Gross in every respect

I imagine that at an old style hardware store.  There would be a counter for rivets, a counter for bolts, one for paint and brushes. and at each counter would be a sales assistant. The Rivet assistant, would be a particularly riveting career.
