It's a terrible indicator of my addiction*, but I REALLY want an early 2-door Range Rover, despite having a 4-door :(

I took a second glance at a Vectra B estate the other day and caught myself almost admiring it. It's obviously a sign that I need to drink more alcohol.

Same here. I really want one of the recovery versions with lights n stuff on the roof.

That Bristol is fantastic. Frogeye Shite anyone?

This is great.

This car was driven into a garage in 1982 and the garage has never been opened until last week.

Looks like the garage was open the entire time. Even the glass has a massive rust hole.

This VDP might have knackered suspension...

... but fortunately its luxurious touches extend to a gyroscopically stabilised radio.

Remember that $800 (£400) lowlight Minor I posted yesterday. That's been made to look like some sort of Purple Horse-priced effort compared to this bad boy at $300 (£150) start:

Seems it's a little bit rich for some though, judging by the 'bidder' wrekd69 (-1 feedback!):

Remember when touches like skinny solid steel rims with ludicrous hub caps jutting out showed exactly where you stood in the model range pecking order?

Contains more pudding than the Great British Bake off final but with near on a years MOT and being tax exempt this early shadow doesn't look too bad for the money.

I'd fit dazzling  70's paisley pattern carpets to replace the current knackered ones though.

Interestingly I just went onto google images and typed in Harold Shipman Renault to check it was an Espace he had and the 9th picture was of my old Lankytim and Volksy Audi. How odd.

Just been online and checked why this is. It would seem in my advert for the Aldi when I was selling it I said the following:

It is absolutely bob on for someone who wants to look like a 1980's GP who has maybe been struck off for his drinking but is still holding onto his glory days by driving a 100 Avant. I bet Harold Shipman had one of these before he got his Renault Espace.

I am going to try and do the same with my Jag by saying Peter Sutcliffe Rover P6 in this post and putting on this photo:

Lets see if that works.

Scarily, I just googled his car and its reg was FHY 400K.
