It was even closer before!  I was watching this when the PO. Had it listed,on the Wirral.  Bought to flip, obvs.

Last sold at £3100.  Good game!*

Fucking arsehole.  Driving up the price for the rest of us.  I hope it goes the way my Cyprus Granada did.  Sold on ebay for less than he gave me, after he'd spent money ruining it.

Grapes?  Sour?  Moi?

this CLAIMS to be the lesser spotted Montego GTI.....

1991 Rover/Austin Montego 2.0 GTI Auto For Sale (picture 1 of 6)

but i suspect it is in fact the almost as rare Montego LX, with a GTi badge stuck on the back.

1991 Rover/Austin Montego 2.0 GTI Auto For Sale (picture 3 of 6)

why? well plastic hubcaps (the GTI i'm sure had some cross spoke alloys) and the boddo base standard interior (i'm sure the GTi had red belts and sports seats, afterall it was the replacement for the MG monty EFi)

still, i really like it, even with the automatic transmission!

No, that probably is a Gti, I’ve had two , one was identical to this one and one was a BRG estate. The Gti was never a replacement for the MG, more a replacement for the short lived Si ( and yes I had one of them too) The spec was basically LX with a spoiler and 2.0 injection engine. None had crosspokes as standard although I fitted some to my ( company car) estate, along with MG grille and badges- what a saddo! Although not as sad as when I swapped the rims, grille and badges onto the 2.0d Countryman that replaced it.

Lovely! I quite like ladas and love seeing RHD early examples :)

and as a bonus it shares a registration series with a block of Invacar Model 70's including LPU934P which is a survivor :) (I sadly don't have a picture of it hence why its not in my survivors list currently)

They might look like aftermarket add ons butthey are from the factory.  The Special LE was a limited edition (hence LE), also available in blue with silver graphics.

I know nothing about these but what a cool little car for £4200.

A few FF1s were sold in Australia back in the early 70s, but have become rare as hens teeth nowadays. It might of been the model that introduced Subaru to the Australian market, I'm unsure:

I do like the tailgates on the estate versions:

Am I the only one wondering why a 12-year-old is selling a Range Rover?

He's probably a Roma gypsy. 12 years old is considered adult in that community.
