the pick up is up to £700 already :-)

So no reserve and they would like £3000 - so if it makes £701 they will sell? Hmmmmm.

Its a bit like the "advertised on another site so reserve the right to withdraw from auction"...in other words you mr punter can bid and spend time on this but I will just end the sale if I don't get what I hoped for.

No wonder Ebum is such a minefield.

Yes it won't be a retest but a new test so hope that the car has not developed a new fault in the meantime. May not be using it but its an eccentric but kind gesture to a new owner - only trouble is you have to pay £100 deposit before it goes for the test. As a buyer it sounds like avoidable hassle.

Blimey I just saw this...driving about without a MoT - £1000 fine squire...

"Only just under 52k now- will still go up slightly as I am using it on a daily basis"

That looks good until you read that the "advisories" include such crackers as the second last one..

Deal breaker IMO.

Who would have thought a 20 year old £250 car would have some rot? Tsk!

Fair enough, it's cheap.

Not cheap or tidy (or blue) but I have fond memories of travelling in the back of one of these as a child

Same. My mate's mum replaced her ex AA HA van OUF872M with a blue Renner 4 van TDR908T.

Whilst it was never as cool as the HA, it was great fun with the massive baguette flap open above the back door. I've got fond memories of me stood up as my mate's mum drove through their village square. My mate would set off the whoopee cushion and I'd pull faces. In reality, I bet people couldn't ever hear the thing over the din of the little 1300 lump working hard.

Both vans died at my mate's family farm - turns out the HA lasted longer than the Renner, after surviving for a heady 11 years. By that point, I can clearly remember being able to see the road through the small holes in the footwells, the passenger door had been seized shut for a couple of years (last couple of MOTs would have been bent) and the back doors were hanging off with grot.

Bought from Brightwells JLR Collection auction for £2200. Overbrook tried to flip it shortly after for - get this - ELEVEN GRAND!!! Needless to say, they're stuck with it as everyone knows where they got the thing from, and how much they paid.

Offer them two grand in cash.

Think his reserve is nearer three to four grand. No chance.

I used to run mine on those Style 31 alloys in winter. Not a bad wheel.
