Look at this!

which means that anything more than a packet of cheese & onion in the back is going to put it overweight and thus renders it utterly useless as a lorry, but it also means that anyone (not just old farts like me) can drive it on a car licence.  4-pot turbo diesel too so probably better on juice than my van.

Verdict:  MEGAWANT.

By the time that's had black and white number plates fitted and is being driven by a 14 year old 'scrap metal business' owner with half a haircut, the weight's not going to matter.

About £1,100. Air Con.  In Australia. Shipping is about £750. Then your other expenses on top.

Really wanting to get one of these before they're all gone - this ones less than an hour from me too. Definitely going to keep an eye on it

How nice does this look? Almost completely unmolested apart from a few small pieces and the wheels of a later car, which I think really suit it. 1997 makes it one of the earliest, too.

As a side note, I think I've missed my chance to get one of these for cheap - that black one that was posted here yesterday is already at £520. For a Cat C Saxo with no service history that's been off the road for the last 4 years. Just seems crazy to me....

Aah, in that case it's actually Redmi 4 Prime, about a year old. MIUI8 but waiting on MIUI9 coming along, Android 7 basically.

Registered as a blue 1939 Austin with a 900cc engine. I am surprised he didn't mention MOT and tax exempt, only come May the heap of shit will be on a Q plate with no mot or tax exemption

Bidding is strong though

The way values of these old crates are going, I'm never going to get another one

Then this one shows up for £1300 in Northants.  It's got that rotwein interior too

My Mum is very angry at me for seeing her as she' loves it

Wanted another injected 230E really.  Maybe at this age the carb model is a better bet?

W123s seem to be practically indestructible, a bit like the Volvo 200s. They were at one stage absurdly popular with the subcontinental community down here, especially those who had made it in life and wanted to push the boat out a bit.

You can still see a W123 being used as a "star car" on Citizen Khan on the telly. I still see a few being piloted around.

Just accepted a quote from Peter S Taylor insurance on the rover 820si just acquired.

£96.60 fully comp, 3000 miles per year. Absolutely chuffed!

Seller doesn't quite get eBay it seems - the car is also up for £800/offers Classified Ad in a separate listing. The photos are different and a little better than the efforts in the above listing.

If those pictures required an effort, I seriously wonder how he finds the door every morning.
