eBay tat volume 3.

I would like to buy that Proton.  It looks superb, and I imagine those stalks are supremely enjoyable to use.

My biggest concern would be having to deal with that vendor.  I can hear the adenoids from 200 miles away, and I imagine him to be the type who shouts animatedly when even slightly excited.  I might be being unkind though.

Still, definitely bloody would.

I imagined Ken Livingstone reading the advert aloud. Not good.

The only way you would blag that as MOT exempted is if you got pulled while dressed as coco the clown and transporting lions in the back, it just isn't in any exempted catagory, its not even a showmans living van which is i'm guessing what they are exempting it as....

Its just Dodge 50's isn't it. Every other one seems to be run on one exemption or another

Any idea what could cause that emissions phale on all fronts?

Would a proper service probably suffice, or is it more likely something expensive?

bad state of tune :D

seriously though, bad air filter, fucked cat, tired lambdas, disconnected afm

any / all of the above plus more

or tested 2 mins after a very cold start?!?

Italian tune up might help it

A list as long as that suggests pretty much shagged.

Not Barinas, no.

European Opel/Vauxhall Corsa cabrios were converted by Kupfer in Holland, not by HSV.

Anyhow, no Holden Barina was Aussie-made.  All were built at the same Spanish plant as the Opels, then shipped over - quite likely the marketing glossed-over that bit.

Seems like there is some confusion on this as this Australian site claims that they were converted by HSV for a period "From November 1997 until late 2000 some three-door hatches were converted into two-door cabriolets by HSV in Melbourne. They are great fun to cruise in when the weather’s right, but their extra weight makes them sluggish in acceleration and handling suffered because of the removal of the roof."

https://www.carsguide.com.au/car-reviews/holden-barina-used-review-1989-2012-13682

But at a similar time they were doing them in Holland as you say.

It's possible that the 'converted by HSV' was typical 'Aussie cars engineered in Straya, mate' marketing though.

An ex library van would be better. Not soaked in horse piss (hopefully).

Bit of a rear overhang on this one mind...

Seems a bit dear, whats the book price of one of these..........................

The want for that library van is big.

It's price is rather big too... Not today.

Does seem a little underpowered though.. 180hp 4cyl diesel in something that size?  My car has a 180hp 6cyl mercedes diesel, and it weighs somewhere between 1/6th and 1/8th of that monstah!

Would be far better if it had a mercedes diesel V8 in it.

'3sfe engine is one of Toyotas finest...'

Is it just me, or do nearly all old Japanese car sellers on eBay say things like 'The CRB dAT98.0 Golden Showers engines are notoriously reliable'?

'will knock price of new v5 off f.inal price of car'

£6.00-£25 = £19 on top to buyer?
