That green Lancer is nice. Early one maybe? The Admiral is quite a beast, styling not quite as elegant as Rekord/Commodore maybe but still rather handsome.F150 looks spot-on in that colour scheme. Suit my house improvement works nicely.

The Lancer was first registered in june 1975, so that makes it one of the earliest sold here. I spotted the fab F150 several times on the move, think it's indeed a builders' car.

What's wrong with the white GS? - in the UK it would be regarded as pretty near mint!Have the Amsterdam authorities given up on that proposal to ban or heavily tax pre 1992 cars, Michiel?

Today a colleague and I (over)loaded the Sirion and brought it to a trade fair in Utrecht:

Everyone else drove vans & trucks and laughed at us...

This was a nice surprise inside though:

Long time since the last update, I guess the flow of imports has stopped a bit, except for the smelly and rusty Merc diesel 200s that give classic cars a bad name. Well, not all rusty, but the nice ones will be in a year - people buy them for 3 to 8 grand (really!) for 'cheap' motoring and then let them rot to hell in a few years.

1974 204:

1985 Polo Van & 1984 626 automatic:

Lovely 1970 VolksWorkhorse:

Gorgeous 1974 504 coupe:

One for Hirst? 1975 Ford 'Granada US' according to our dvla:

And to top it all off, a 1980 Manta auto on lpg, with some er, accessories:

I guess the owner works either in the university or the associated hospital, I see it most days now.

Cheers! We had a gig with blood red shoes in Bardens Boudoir (iirc) and with another band we played with cat on form at The Garage in London a few years before that; guy in my (now dormant) band had contacts with a lot of UK bands.

oh ok, the lovely laura-mary is my mates ex, and one of my ex's took lots of their promo photos. i always thought they were a bit rubbish though.

Nice coincidence! Can't say I have any of their work at home... but I did enjoy them all live - although the adventure of playing abroad did cloud my judgement somewhat probably!

pbottomley, re the Schoolbank camper - a bank is in this case a bench, it's promoting a website where you can look for people you went to school with, although your explanation is more fun!

Short update with a 1976 Viva that was once yellow:

And some 1988 Armbruster/Stageway Cadillac DeVille Limoshite, FWD V8.

I’ve never seen a stretched Deville in the flesh! Pretty much shite all round even before someone put the effort in to give it a few extra bonus doors.
