Hopefully Dave (Tetleysmooth) won't mind me using an abridged version of his original ad.

Dave wrote

"The good,

The roof works perfectly.

The engine 'box and clutch are all very good. No slippage, clunks or bangs.

All display pixels are correct and present.

Just shy of 101k.

Half leather seats are fine, but need a valet.

Excellent heater which warms up very quickly in my opinion.

Interior stays dry in heavy rain.

Very quiet runner and quick when it needs to be.

Bloody reliable in the short time I've had it.

No warning messages apart from 'time for service', which can be extinguished at the flick of a switch.

There's probably more positives which I'll add as I think of them

The not so good.

The brakes, although excellent will probably need renewing for the next test, which is late January. It'll need front pads, and rear discs and pads. But I say again, the brakes are fine as they are.

There's a scrape in front of the offside rear wheelarch.

The front tyres (205 - 55 - 16) will need replacing sooner rather than later. Rears are fine.

A couple of scuffs on the front and rear bumper"

So I'll just add ...

It's for sale because I don't use it any more (keeping the C6 now) and it seems daft to have it sitting o/s the house unused forking out for tax and Insurance.

It's a really likeable mowtah...

Drives nicely and has a fair turn of speed.

It's clicked on to 101k now.

Only thing I would add is that some of the black finish on the switchgear has worn off.

Needs a good clean inside and out.

And while it's in fairly good condition the photos do flatter it a little.

All I've done to it since I've had it is treat the canvas hood.

MOT is up 26th Jan 2019 ...

As Dave mentioned its got advisories for pads and pitted discs...

It's done 4k+ since last MOT.post-5562-0-65111200-1543590278_thumb.jpg

If it had been an auto, I'd never have sold it in the first place.

What were they thinking with those rear lights? Otherwise an elegant looking thing. Glwts.

Maybe they had the word 'gopping' in the design brief?

If anyone fancies this, I have a brand new set of rear discs and pads which I bought for it, but never fitted.

As I said before, this is a bloody good motor, and I'd never have sold it had it been an auto.

Mrs Tet loved it, but wouldn't drive it because of the manual gears.

Is the saab still kicking around.

Following my excellent C5 blind purchase from yourself I may have to excite myself with another
