Time to wake up

My lift is coming in an hour. Amys doing her best to remind me of something else that's happening today, haven't worked it out yet though...

The great thing about your boss helping you to collect a car is if said car breaks down on my way to work one day its partly his fault!

Just as cold down your way as here then by the looks of it. Good luck with the collection, and Happy Birthday to you.

Its fantastic! Such a refined place to be compared to the laguna, needs a 6th gear though! Bonus half a tank of derv too!

Off home now

Wonder what lurks under the tape on the bonnet? AS version of a scene bonnet bra.

I tried that against a mazda 5 2.0 and lost... Takes a while to get up to speed but does 90 nicely enough at 3.5k rpm...

I can't wait to detail it, bar the bonnet it's pretty clean!

I've forgotten how much easier estates are to park too, fucking loads of visibility!

Handbrake doesn't do much mind, but it's lovely to be able to say that's a job for next year!

Might pinch the wipers from the gooner before it goes... Or I'll just treat it to new ones!

For autoshite win, you need to fit the Gooner bonnet on it.

Tbh it's got some fancy metallic gaffa tape on it, I'm minded to leave it alone as its quite smart!

Laguna has gone, I kept the floor mats as their fucking ace but left the wipers. I bought them for the blue gooner, they've done their time. Plus the rear wiper is total shit on the 406,so I may as well get a set.

One day...

Before I scrap anything, I always take all the bulbs, relays and fuses out as a minimum. So long as the cat and battery’s in they couldn’t give a fuck.

Was thinking of the battery on the drive to get the 406 as the gooner has a really good one, but she started first turn of the key in 1 degree covered in ice so I didn't bother. Got bulbs coming out of my ears too, and fuses!

Spent so long breaking the blue laguna for spares that it was quite nice to just drop this off and call it job done!

My mum attempted to take a woollard of me!

close but no cigar!

foot too high- should be on bumper

wrong leg- Woolarding should always be performed with leg closest to camera on bumper to allow for correct elbow placement on said leg to obtain the right angle to camera

7/10

oh yes dont expect a 406 to have comfortable seats especially after an renner! my mat has had 2 mk1 & mk2 and the seats were shit in both- not a car we enjoyed going Corwall and back in apart from the empeegees!

You know, I didn't find it as comfy as the laguna driving home, but put it down to not really doing much bar putting the seat back cos bramz is tiny and driving!
