FUCK!!!

I’m not kidding when I say that the text from Ken coincided with my toilet flooding.

That was a really intense 10 minutes. Now, what the fuck am I going to do? There’s no way I can afford to insure this thing, so I could either sell it on with Ken’s permission or do the right thing and MOT the fucker. But how??

I entered before I bought my Merc so it's surplus to requirements now. If I'd won I would have got it legal, written a head to head test of both cars then offered it out - Mo being the most likely recipient now that Pandamonium has bought something.

Just a thought :)

Put it on a roffle again at a silly, say £3 a ticket. You get a quick boost to your funds for basically nothing and we all get another chance at it. I am actually a little disappointed, i honestly have never liked german cars, always preferred french but I have changed recently and own a vw caddy van, just sold a skoda fabia which I did like to buy a seat leon, which I promptly crashed at the weekend through no fault of my own and Im waitimg for the insurance to sort out. The bmw would have been fine for a stop gap, even allowing for a mega easyjet then 600 mile drive collection thread.

Roffle rules as I remember are that the winner can do as they please. Keep, flip, defer existing roffle to next draw, offer for sale at actual price, offer for sale at roffle ticket price, give away, &c...

Whoever finally gets the car please just keep me informed so I can assist in the collection - 'cos Farm.

I'm off this week and next if that helps and will need a couple of days notice to let the farm people know.

Collection will need to be during reasonable hours, again 'cos Farm folk.

Cheers

Anybody know what's happening with this?

I wouldn't mind taking it on. Not too far from Chelmsford / barn either.

Craig here, trying desperately to isolate himself from the missus saying “Why is there a fucking BMW on the driveway?”

Well this has officially/unofficially changed hands, in a typically elaborate wheeze. Somehow in all of this, the saabre tooth tiger now lives outside my house..

The BMW of much loveliness was collected from the Barn this morning by its new owner and got him home without any issues at all.

A huge Thanks for all those who participated in the roffle.

Cheers to all concerned for an easy day, and lovely to meet you Ken.

For anyone interested, this car really is as nice as the photos suggested.

I sat in the beemer and blipped the throttle. Sad that I only owned it for 3 hours and we never even got to meet during that time. Sigh.

It’s well nice. We opened the bonnet and made “oooh that’s nice” sounds.

I think that although eating one's dinner would indeed be possible whilst located in the engine bay, I am not entirely sure I would want to.

Jack, sitting in the car and making brumm brumm noises is allowed.

It looked lovely in the dark when I collected the Galaxy, seeing as its gone to bramz at least peeps will get a second chance at a roffle failry shortly, no doubt :)

Oh, and I have an overwhelming urge to make the 900 paintwork gleam. I can't help it.

So is the 900 yours now ken? Is that your Ulez solution?

Loosely related I saw this out and about yesterday, probably needs a polish too :)

Sadly the Saab does not belong to me. Saab custodian is our very own Mr Faberge Greggs.

Saab is as smooth as the inside of an Anchor butter container that has been liberally smeared with Anchor butter.
