EDDYFEST! October 21st, Sunday in the Lakes

Hairnet kindly reminded me of this today, just got permission so will be along.

Depending on weather it will either be a noisy mx5 or the more refined comfort of the 406. I would bring the Saab but would have to be insured for the day and taxed which makes it a £££ trip

Edit: just seen shitpeas give aways. I think I have some free stuff to give away as well. Including some fuel cans.

Can someone bring exhaust paste, a beans tin and large jubilee clips?

Don't say the exhaust has also fallen off. I've just gotten back to a regular heartbeat after the finding an screwdriver in the engine and disintergrating electrical connection episodes.............

I'll be arriving in the Autoshite bike Rover 220 that has a blowing exhaust to relay it to catsinthewelder, my own solution is to wear earbuds and listen to loud music.

There are so many mags in the back of the Blingo there's a fair chance the rear brakes may have to do some work tomorrow!

Well happily, loud music is the very best kind of music.

I've got a 1L bottle of Fiat Paraflu UP coolant if anyone wants it- was bought for the wife's panda a few years ago and never needed.

Posted

I have some mx5 bits actually, a chrome boot rack, a tow bar, some brown deep pile v special floor mats.

Also a vagcom cable.

Going to bring the 406 plus ramps and some tools so can fix the exhaust blow.

Would be tempted by mx5 bits of no one else wants them.

Jimpeas, I'd very much like to try that petrol cap against Huggy, because all he has at present is a rubbish plastic thing.

Any GGG meeting place yet?

I'm going to clean the inside of the windows again, as I smeared them last time. Then might wash n wax it so it's fully* prepped for winter.

Sure some one will be traveling in your direction man.

That would be most appreciated. T shifter on trike for pretending I'm a traffic light racer in 1970s Detroit.
