I came past that venue, southbound, last Saturday.

 

The M20; 2 miles south is closed each/ every weekend - completely, whilst they remove that damaged bridge.

 

It was causing total chaos, everywhere, within 10 miles. I was a long way south west of Maidstone before heavy traffic cleared.

 

So, plan your route with care!

Just checked and diner opens until 4 (or 5 depending on demand). So, if you get there for 2, should have a good couple of hours indoors if it is pelting down.

I'm bringing my Mondeo, both my cars have blowing exhausts at the moment, but the Mondeo has newer front tyres for more grip! Although the rears are scarily old, and need doing....
