That sounds interesting. I could do with a pair of front wings for my DS and I'm off work that week.

Hi,

I'm still looking for the Rancho bulkhead spotlights.

If you could keep an eye out that'd be grand.

Thanks in advance.

I thought I'd add the poster, 250 stalls does sound like a lot...

I wonder if there will be anyone selling Norev diecast :-)?

Just checking the ferry prices from Portsmouth. Haven't been on a ferry to France since the 1980s!

Just typed a load of shit - ranting about it being a Thursday...... annoying enough - then realised there's a Belgian national holiday - guess when?

Yup - you got it - the fuggin 15th! Bollox.......

I’m sorted for spotlights (sorry I didn’t turn out to have decent spare spares for you Holbeck) but some Rancho sill repair panels or roof rack tubes would go down a treat.

In fact any Rancho bits, really, except wheels. Got wheels.

Oh, and a Renault 16 brake light switch please.

Thanks!

Last one I went to had plenty of good used DS wings. There was one stall displaying new wings, doors, bonnets, looked like you could build a whole DS from what they were showing. They could well be at this event.

What's the part number on the R16 switch ?  Not sure on Rancho bits, but if I spot a Rancho specific dealer I'll get their details.

Just to add to the above (sorry, couldn't be arsed to work out multi quote) I'm not 100% sure I'm going yet.

As work looks at the mo, I'm 80% sure.

If anyone spots an 845cc Renault engine going cheap I'm sure the Silvers would be happy to give it a new home.

Don’t worry about the R16 brake pedal switch, thanks, when I looked for part numbers it turns out they’re readily available from Franzose.de. But contact details for a Rancho specialist would be A-MAZE-ING.

If you go, that is - no obligation obvs. You’re a gent for offering.

It just so happens to look like a GGG delegation might possibly be despatched.

Out watchage for white R16 Continental hoonage is advised.

^^^Same here. I'm itching for another trip to France, and this sounds like the perfect excuse.

A delegation from the NPH, which works in close cooperation with the GGG on all things The Climate Improvement© related, will also be deployed, it has emerged.

I do indeed. This time hopefully myself.

On a different note, since the R16 may* be fully occupied, I had concerns regarding available space for hauling stuff back in sufficient quantities,

such as doors, wings, wine, Gauloises and most of all, warped French plastic in daft colours,

until Ghosty came up with the solution - why not borrow the roofrack I flogged to fellow R16 brother in arms Crooner of this parish.

Thank you, Ghosty.

However, I wouldn't be a true GGG member, if I didn't say that we will acquire a roofrack at the venue, should the requirement arise.

For the uninitiated not living in the parallel universe of R16 ownership, due to it's roof design and lack of gutters, only a bespoke R16 roofrack can be utilised.

On yet another unrelated note, visiting autojumbles is only fun if you buy parts for cars you don't own.

No truer words have ever been spoken typed.

On an unrelated* note, anyone wants some W123 Merc or Aussie Leyland bits?

I've found DFDS from newhaven to dieppe to be the best service to that area. Roughly five hours crossing time.

Sodding hell I'm a dolt! It just didn't register!!!! Now working out if I have munchkin or not - so how much place I'll have in the car!!!!

Sorry for stupidity (and fatigue I have to say - this heat I'm getting a couple of hours a night at the minute....)

Shall be there with bells on.... thanks for the heads up.

EDIT - If anyone can't make it and I can snaffle anything - they can sit with me in Brussels until I come over to UK next time via Eurostar - they're getting used to me lugging parts back n forth.....

Not received my GGG membership card yet m8.

If anything Cit CX S2-related shows up, I'm interested. Particularly the triple LCD display that sits above the centre console. Also an offside bi-optic headlamp with clean internal reflectors (yes I know it'll be LHD, but it's the reflectors I'm interested in, not the outer lens)....

We'll deliver you to that ferry, drive to Dover, take the ferry to Calais and drive down to pick you up from that ferry.
