Yes ok its a deal, I've never driven a Sunny and can pretend to be an Asian living in the 80s

Do you want the van before you move to Clee Hill? It doesn't like Angel Bank. Or Angel Bank doesn't like the van, not sure.

Diamond travel buses not so fond either

Aye go on then,  I'm just off to fire the Cherry up Angel bank as I need tools tomorrow that I was using at the weekend (it's bloody lucky that I'm not moving far isn't it).

I should probably fit the new alternator (blagged for free :D ) first or you will need earplugs when using full beam.

Good Afternoon All!

I'm chatsharris, and I'm actually fatharris's twin brother. Massive fan of bangernomics and keeping perfectly good cars on the road.  Last year I hit the motherload and purchased this fine beast.

112k, 6 months T&T, all the toys and fully working, 2.2 TiD goodness.  Ã‚£450. Bargain!

Just about to tick over to 136k, and at the moment no major drama.  Someone bodged an intercooler pipe with some drain pipe so that's been replaced and apart from that, it's just been tidying it up and fettling.

Looking forward to getting amongst it here!

Hullo there, Dave here aka the Pieman - found this site from both Barryboys and Retro Rides.

Don't own any shite currently and am unable to drive until next year at the earliest due to having a form of epilepsy, but I am a well-versed old car geek!  Motorsport commentator and writer by profession, aka talking bollox about cars of all ages ;)

Well hello all.

I'm dupe, I'm the owner of Hcoc - the Hyundai coupe owners club®

As well as being hugely involved in car shows and the like I run one of the last few Hyundai pony pickups on the road as well as a nowadays pretty rare Hyundai scoupe

Nice of you to join autoshite! Are the mechanical details of the Pony unimpressive in an Autoshite sort of way, or are they a tour-de-force of technological wonderment? No idea it was possible to have a Hyundai pickup. Guess you could call it the My Little Pony Club, if there was a club. It looks a little like a Plymouth Arrow/Dodge Rampage/VW Rabbit sort of thing.

Hello, saw this forum advertised over on the Book of Faces, so I thought I would pop in and say Hello.

So, Hello.

Someone off here has just bought my Volvo and mentioned it was shared on here, so thought I'd pop my head in.

Volvo's and Vauxhalls are what get me going, although I've owned more cars than I care to think about (stopped counting at 175) - so anything pre mid 90s and Vaux/Volvo and I'm on it like a trap on hot chips!

Hello everybodies,

I've been aware of this site for a good while thru my cousin who is a member, and current lover of a Pug 205 with arse end improvements, but due to bone idleness and so on never bothered to check it out :-P

Well, now I know what I've been missing out on, I am pretty much the definition of an autoshiter - I have a traders policy just to cover all the crap vehicles I have to have - and I just love the unloved, there have been so, so many, but the Austin van denplas from Ipswich probably tells you all you need to know about my tastes - and the story of it's purchase and momentous journey is a tale worth telling, if only a lesson in how not to go about buying a car

I am currently running a LWB Transit ex minibus, P reg, with a trailer tent bolted to the roof, nearly ready for the festival season, and a Hyundai Atoz on an S plate for a city car (I'm in Leeds West Yorks). Both are autos, which I prefer, not that I can't drive a stick, just don't see the point really for everyday driving in traffic.

I am pretty much inept at this technology business, and struggloe to take and display pictures, so if someone would kindly walk me thru the process as if speaking to a small child with learning difficulties, that would be much appreciated :-D

Cheers Jim

LWB Transit auto minibus? Ex-BA by chance?

Nope, a sea scout group, according to the shiny bits of the bonnet where someone had removed the sticker, but failed to t-cut to blend in with the mucky paint :-D

I have some photos of this rustng beauty with the tent opened up on my desktop, but no clue how to transfer onto here :?

Er,

thanks to Trigger for the photo posting advice, just need to replace this laptop which has a brain melt every so often and posts stuff before I've finished the damn thing, which I think has just happened

I can't see if I have indeed just done a part complete post as I'm still undermoderation, so apologies if it all looks somewhat random - I shall attempt to make up for this by getting more pics of my horrendous bodgery for your amusement readers :-P

back to the Atoz, the standard stereo system is appalling, with a poxy two speaker offering, so I wired in a couple of computer speakers, screwed in to the dashboard, and a pair of old household speakers from a charidee shop bolted into the rear where a parcel shelf may have been if it had one - and a new stereo from Ebay, a deckless one to either run bluetooth or use an sd card (which I do generally), for £35 - much, much better.

Again, soz about the wrong way up pics, if I knew how to correct the buggers I really would :-P

Well seems my pics of the Transit went into the digikal ether, so here we go again, need a "skirt" for the bottom of the pull over section of the tent, which I shall bodge seamlessly out of the awning that came with the trailer tent (£72 from Oldham on Ebay for the trailer tent and awning, the correct price).

Hey guys, i heard about this place before but never really thought to have a look till now.

a friend of mine told me that my Panda 4x4 sisley was spotted on the facebook group so i tried to join up but sadly after a few attempts no one seems to accept me into the group.

my 2 pandas are at the time of posting at the top of the main page in the garage..  one is on the road now and the other ..  well  one day will be on the road when i have the cash to insure it. (one of those things where everything is fine till you tell them it has a slightly bigger engine fitted then its a hell no, that extra 15 horse power will make it a uncontrollable rocket..  sigh)

anyhoo hello from JohnDragonMan. (google the name to see the other crazy stuff i get up to.)
peace all, John

Welcome along bud. You'll have a good time here! You don't see many panda's about nowadays so will enjoy hearing all about them.
