This a Morris minor a gsi carlton (too clean) Astra GTE with missing centre caps......I have his address and am posting him 4 centre caps for free.....because it was such a lovely car and would be perfect.....he offered to pay for them....I said to donate what ever he thought they were worth to a charity of his choice.... another minor - this ones been to balamory. Rumours of the scarcity of Stags are exaggerated: There really were some gems just chucked casually away at corners of the site: Smiley face... Volvo Didn't know these were a thing until two weeks ago: I should have spent more time poring over this one. Not seen one for many years and this was the first car I remember travelling in. My Mum had my Dad's cast-off Anglia, complete with red seats that were leaking horse hair. Not the most comfortable thing when you're 3 and wearing shorts... Yum I wonder where the styling for these came from - I always liked the front, but on the saloon, everything from the B pillar back heralds the clumsiness of the next and last shape ones... More yum from the 80s In the LT camper, I have slight concerns about what is still supporting the combined weight of me, the slender reed that is Mrs CW and its own structure when we sleep in the double over cab. But this... it's plain there is very little supporting this double over cab... I may have made my circuit of the site too early in the day and missed other examples, but afterwards me and Keymaster were reckoning up the number of Citroens making an appearance. Even counting non green blooded ones, I think it was limited to the Traction Avant/Light 15, this DS (ID?) and a handful of 2CVs...No GS, AX, BX, CX, Xant, Xsara, ZX or XM was spotted all day. Are they all really that close to extinction? I was starting to think the mere existence of these things was a figment of my imagination - I seem to recall Revell did these as a kit when I was a kid, and I've seen two ever since. I love some of the shape of them, but the push-me, pull-me idiocy of the styling that infected the Boxster seems to have started here. I could lick the paint off this one in that colour though... The Flight of the Valkyries was playing in my head at this moment. Heroes in a heroic car, making a heroic journey to show the rest of the punters.... HOW IT'S DONE Not content with detailing* a Corsa van in a car park in Glossop, the Northern Powerhouse and Granadaland Greenhouse Gassers™ set to with the de-Barrying of a Renault 4, with varying degrees of success. Junkman however deemed neither of two members to be The Messiah, but instead to both be Very Naughty Boys and will be administering a spanking..... as soon as he can find the correct device in his plastic bag. There is rumoured to be footage of disruptive elements amongst the showgoers, seen driving around the site in a most undignified, nay even unruly fashion at the end of the day, causing confusion and consternation to others. Wack Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 Saw a very nice 1924 Buick which I thought deserved sepia, tried to get nothing modern in the background, luckily that wheel in the top right is from a 1924 prototype motor bicycle that didn't make it to production as it looked too futuristic Loved the citroen, I'd need to be a passenger though , i'd be asleep in 10 minutes in that seat Supercharger fitted to a V8 Mustang engine in a MG ZT 260 , If I had that I'd take all the badges off and dress like Harry Worth until a barry boy was alongside me at the lights in his corsa chodweaver, Asimo, worldofceri and 4 others 7
