I shall put some of the photos I took up when technology permits them to be uploaded in the correct orientation.

Echoing Cheggers' words nice to meet everyone and put faces to names &c.

Just got home. What a great day out. Obviously, as above, it's nice to actually meet some of the AS community and find them not only friendly but generous too. So not only did I have a nice time in the field I got a free Marillion tape that i played twice in it's entirety very loud on the drive home(to be fair it has to be loud in the Triumph with the roof open). I havent heard that in it's entirety for about 25 years and was amazed that I still knew every word. Brilliant, thanks.

No guesses for which car was my favourite.

An couple of photos. The wonders of technology means they come out all orientations save the one I particularly want the to display in.

Also thanks to Nyphur and Christine for the reading materials. Stepdaughter seems quite chuffed with the entry level car maintenance book, as it will probably be useful for her college course.

Technical centre just down the road from the meet in Worthing too. I think it was IAD? before they bought it.

Mmmm, Espero on three spokes (Anteras?).  Nice.

I had a good time, met some nice people, talked some bollox.

A nice afternoon and a good venue - well spotted Glen, and nicely organised.

Mine is the Espero, a uk daily munter that’s in general use - & looks it!

I also have a low mileage Espero auto, which is frightful, & a low mileage manual that goes on the road next month, after a lengthy layup. All 3 on 3 spokes ( period, innit!)

Those who didn’t make it - you missed out!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention yesterday, got to Fittleworth on the way home and the Red Arrows went straight over my open sunroof. Flying pretty low and in a V formation. That was only ten minutes up the road from the meet. I wondered if anyone was still in the field by then. Certainly topped off a great day.

I took an extended route home north from Midhurst to Farnham and a blast down the A31. Most enjoyable

There is a major horsey event on at Goodwood this weekend, I think the Red Arrows were due to pass over there.

There main display in the area is "Wings & Wheels" at Dunsfold Aerodrome, also running this weekend. Their display at Dunsfold today is cancelled because of the bad weather.

Given the amount of drear today, I'm glad it was yesterday, though we'd have had the tarmac car park! Weather is absolutely filthy today.

It's rekindled the itch to own a scruffy old car to mess around with/in (with respect to the fine vehicles & owners in attendance), which I think is a good thing.

I was just looking at the photos thinking I should've turned up as the weather looks lovely as it was absolutely lashing it down here. I could've come over after we had lunch at the Cow in Angmering at 2pm.

I've since realised it was yesterday, hence why it was nice so if I had come over after lunch I'd have been disappointed, especially after trying to fight my way through the traffic round Arundel with the festival being on.

Sadly I wouldn't have been able to make it yesterday anyhow as had other shizzle to attend to like taking Imp Jr to the beach whilst it was nice.

Looks like it would've been a good meet, plenty of interesting stuff and peeps.

Hopefully next time.
