My 'scruffy' Saab 900 automatic---SOLD!

Due to an ongoing left leg problem I have decided I need a car with more pedal room so I am relunctantly putting this up for sale.

Firstly,if you prefer your cars shiny then this is not the car for you!!  The faded paintwork condition is exactly as I bought it just over 2 years ago and that was part of the reason I bought the car. That said,i get far more comments about the car then I ever did with most of the shiny cars I have had.

Saab 900 injection 16 valve automatic,first registered February 1991,MOT until 27/12/2018,current mileage is 61,000.

BAD POINTS are the common problems of a cracked dashboard but a good replacement will be supplied, some rust on the inside of the passengers door,a battle scar on the nearside rear wheel arch that has got no worse in my ownership, and a rust spot on the right lower corner of tailgate glass. I can get pictures of these areas for anyone interested.

GOOD POINTS are,a very well maintained car with low mileage with a really good service history with 41 stamps in the book,38 are Saab dealer and 3 Saab specialist all backed up with invoices. Good headlining,it was replaced early in the cars life, working air conditioning--fitted from new,Saab headlamp protectors, radio cassette with working electric aerial. Very good interior with no rips or tears,NO rust in the transmission tunnel areas. Recent head gasket replacement with the cylinder head skimmed.

REALLY GOOD POINTS- The car starred in a short film in 2016 called 'Bunny and Clive', I have a link to the film that I can forward. As a result of the film there is a short article in Saab Driver magazine that goes with the car.

It's a nice driving comfortable car but being a 2litre non turbo mated to a 3 speed auto box it is no speed machine but I got used to it as I am sure most drivers would. I use it most weeks, sometimes all week other times just one day but it keeps things moving. Available about 7th May onwards with an Autoshite price of £900.00  Any questions, please ask!

Thanks for the offer but I doubt if I could get out of an MX5 even if I could get in it!

Bollocks, if it falls through can I have third dibs. That will teach me to take the wife out for a curry for her birthday.

I *really* want this but the timing is all wrong. When the next owner sells it I will be first in the queue!

And replied, sadly spent £400 on stuff for the Capri Saturday which I think will put me out of the running. :-(

Readvertised due to original buyer having family problems. He has explained everything to me and I am ok with it,so it's up for sale again.

I’d be all over this like a flannel but sadly out of the country for ages, and Vantman would like this gone soon.

Good luck to whoever picks up this wee cherub!

Just in case this does become available, I'm also interested.

It's still available :-D .

Had one of these about a million years ago and regret selling it to this very day.

Don't s'pose you fancy a swap with a green MG ZT by any chance, however remote.

Thanks for the offer but I can only drive automatics now.

Excellent.

Just to repeat my above... Assuming it's gone to Holbeck, please keep me in mind when you decide to move it on!

I really want one of these and I like this spec a lot, but I can't have it right at this moment.

I probably am going to move this on in the near future.

First dibs rights can be exercised.
