Im off out and about in it now, so will report later.

It drives far better than it looks though. If you ignore the gearbox whine.

I'd actually quite like one of these. In that colour. I think I need help.

Step this way sir. Would you lik3 a complimentary cup of weak tea flavoured drink?

I think I win today's three car shuffle:

Good to meet you WW, sorry I couldn't stop long, and thanks for the pack-up.

Regardless of what you ended up with, you won by not getting the Picasso. Unless that prize was two Picassos.

Only one vehicle will be joining the fleet in the immediate future. A week today in fact!

Oh wow.

And by "wow", I mean "dear".

Does it still have the foldaway shopping basket, mistah?

And I believe these fine beasts also have a parking ticket clip on the windscreen too?

Or, at least, my dad's old one (in this same colour) did.

Congratulations/commiserations, sir!

I know but I was desperately, desperately hoping you'd have had a change of heart. A win's a win though!

Poo count? I mean, other than the car that is.

Oh! I assumed it was a car that Bucketeer hadn't previously shown us.

Oh well. Have fun* WilsonX2! Taking it to Shitefest so Saabnut can see it again?

Posted

No poo count as I didnt even leave the house.

Bucketeer drove it to Skattrd, and went home in a Volvo. Skattrd drove it here and went home in a Maxima.

3 way dance. Handshakes all round.

Parks like an Ignis. Slips in like a hand in glove. The sun shines out of our behinds. No its not like any other Citroen, this one is different because its ours. Aaaaaand if the people stare let the people stare. Ooooh I really dont know and I really dont care!!

The petrol light was on at drop off and the range said 40 miles. I put £25 worth of base spec supermarket petrol down its petrol hole and now the range says 2 miles.

Now car. Be nice. We have only just met.

After a quick blatt about I would rank it 2.5 out of 5 shits.

Drives pretty well and handles ok. The ride is lovely and comfy and the partially attached drivers seat is lovely and supportive.

Its like driving a big glass greenhouse which aids low speed manoeuvres and makes the bus as simple as cheese to park. The car can stall off the power at low speed but restarts with a quick twist of the go go peg.

Brakes really well. Pulls up straight and prompt considering the size and bulk of the bugger.

I tried kicking its tits in off the line but theres really no point. Its a 1.6 8v. Its not fast and its not meant to be. It gets up to road speed well enough and feels very stable and planted bobbling along in on a straight course.

The gearbox (i think) whines like a small to medium sized dog thats been locked in a rear yard in the rain.

Is it shite?

Yes.

Is it bad?

No, not at all. Ive taxed far worse.

Can I think of a better way to spend four english pounds?

No I cannot. Its the best way to spend £4 ever. Bucketeer even washed it and drove it for hours in the middle of the night to aid its transit north.

Where else in the internet would you get help like that?

For four pounds.

I give everyone involved a Shitpeas score of 15/10 and hope everybody elses mojo is boosted a bit by proxy.
