AUTOSHITERS COMMUNAL EBAY CRAP THREAD - WHO'S IN??!!

Not on eBay yet, hoping I don't have to list it on there due to idiots and charges:

Peugeot Equipe 10 speed racer.

Large sized frame, would think it was about 22 inches. It would suit someone at least 6ft tall I reckon to be comfortable.

Serfas Kevlar seat.

Wellgo pedals and pedal clips.

Just been serviced, really does ride superbly.

I've done about 30 miles on it, mixture of lanes, cycle path and main roads and it's great.

It's a well made (in France) bike, not some nasty Chinese thing, I think it was made in 1982-3 and would have been circa £130 at the time.

Known faults:

Obv. it does have the odd mark and chip here and there. It's NOT a wreck but please be realistic! The tyres have decent tread and I've been riding the bike 'as is' but the sidewalls arse showing signs of weathering/perishing so I'd suggest they want replacing. Modern tyres are probably far better as most have decent all weather ability and puncture resistance.

Bloody good investment as they're starting to fetch decent money these days but it's also a cracking ride and something a bit different from modern road and mountain bikes. Last one I found on eBay in similar condition (without the fancy extras) was £160 so I'm going to suggest £130 ono for this one.

Hopelessly rubbish picture as you'd expect from CYCLECRAFT, better ones to follow:

Not on eBay and unlikely they will be of use to anyone, but just thought I would check before I take them to the tip.

2 x curved perspex shower doors. Approx 5' 10" in height by a foot and a half in width. Grubby but would clean up nicely.

Available for collection from St Albans. PM me if interested.

Anyone want a decent bike?

I've got a Scott 'Sub 20' Hybrid here. Bloody nice bit of kit, hydraulic brakes, Continental tyres etc, full spec is:

•Butted 6061 aluminum frame offers a sturdy, nimble ride for navigating city streets; flat handlebar creates a comfortable, upright riding position

•Shimano Deore shifters guide the XT rear derailleur and Alivio front derailleur for quick, easy and dependable shifting through the 27 gear combinations

•Powerful and responsive Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes work effectively in all weather conditions

•Continental Sport Contact tyres offer puncture protection and great all-around rolling performance

•Platform pedals let you ride with any shoes you please

•Frame features eyelets for fenders. Replaceable rear derailleur hanger helps extend the usable life of the frame

It's a 21 inch frame (if I measured it correctly) so suits someone 6ft plus ideally. Everything working fine, lovely bike to ride and although it does have the odd mark as you'd expect of a second hand bike, it's bloody lovely. £775 (or so) new so not some nasty Sports Direct type crap.

4 post gantry, complete - about 7foot tall when erect wasn't quite wide enough to fit over my stag but might be good for someone on here. it does flat pack to fit into a car. the top half gantry bit of the unit against the wall is the biggest bit.

Is that gantry far too big to fit in a mk3 fiesta. I have to go to Buckingham on Saturday to collect my wheels....

Hi, most of it breaks down, the biggest bit is the top half of the gantry which you can see leaning against the lower part of the wall.

That bit is 62" x 38" a smidge over 3foot x 5 foot.

Might well fit with the seats down. Get your tape measure out

Cheers

Richard
