Sam Glover had one - I think SambaS ended up buying it off him.

As one of the loonies about to drive a Dacia 1310 2500 miles it would be really good to see J6EEP at Shitefest when we get back.

Hope to make Shitefest if it's back on the road in time.

Especially as I haven't yet worked out a sensible way to get the Dacia 1310 to Shitefest. Or should I book it in for an MOT in Aberdeen?

I thought you were keeping what you bought a secret Ian? Did CITW let the cat out of the welder there?

Erm whoops LOL

I clearly haven't been following that thread, so I hadn't a ScoobyDoo what you were getting, I was hoping for something more comedic going by your past purchases, it is 'acceptable' though LOL

Well that's my Duster back on the road with its very first MOT (thanks to D J Automotive Engineering, Kingswells) Happy days!

Excellent. I think there needs to be a Dacia gathering next year.

I always wanted one of those, but by the time I'd saved enough money they were almost extinct. Well done, cheered up my Xmas!

I reckon if Dacia made a similar chunky off roader lookalike based on Sandero mechanicals today, they’d probably enjoy a fair bit of success.

Even better if they made a 4wd version

Graham R brings us glad tidings of great joy, a new (re)born king can be found in the stable (garage). Hear the angels (well Skizz, wobbler and Parky) sing hallelujah! A Christmas miracle!

Now go place it in swaddling cloths and lie it in a manger.

The plate was a personal reg belonging to the supplying dealer, Scarborough 4x4 Centre, who meant to remove it when they sold the car to the previous owner, but they never got round to doing so (thankfully!)

Took them that long to get over the shock of closing a sale. There can't of been many folk queuing in the Boxing DAy sale way back then to bag a Dacia. I can't ever recall seeing one on the road.
