Nice manifold !As for what makes me grin :Finally lifting the engine out of the Rebel !Who needs engine hoists 'ey, Just threw a short bar across the head, bolted it down and lifted it out by hand. Crapped myself as the sound of GRP crying, due to my fat ass in the engine bay.Gearbox didn't want to let go, but after a wiggle or 200 it finally did.And just waiting for the carpet to dry out, then everything will be back in the Fiesta

How much did it cost (If you don't mind me asking)As i would love to get something like that for the Rebel (When i find a decent job)

Materials were about £30 and the welding cost me £80 but it was absolutely top notch stuff. A new cast manifold for a more normal application (eg webers on a Ford engine) is quite similar in price.

I've just been asked to be an extra in an independant low budget local film! An old friend does bits n bobs of acting etc & has a main part in a film & has asked me to be an extra. I'm gonna be a bloke in a cafe, just drinking coffee/chatting etc with about 8 or 9 others. Its being filmed in a cafe in Leicester on saturday afternoon.Its gonna be screened an independent cinema in Leicester in a couple of months, & then hopefully at some film festivals! Quite excited about it!
