Surely its the Peugeot 504?

So long as you don't have a handfull of salt and a glass of water, they are pretty much indestructible

Another stillborn one, the Opel Commodore Voyage:

maxresdefault.jpg

It was shown once, at the 1968 Geneva Salon, then disappeared.

Meanwhile a few clones have been built.

They did a Commodore C Voyage as well (Rekord E), lowest official production Estate ever. Production run 3000 something. 2.5S and 2.5E.

I love my 305 estate.

I don't think I'd ever sell it.

Nor should you. An outstanding vehicle.

Looks very capable in that shot!

Hello my friends, I wish to sell to you the Anadol SV1600 estate, comes with a moustache on the grill and an hydraulically operated kebab spinner on the tailgate. My brother will take for test drive, no?

Yes, but they did only one A-Commodore Voyage. One.

305 addiction starting Mr FOAD ?  I've been an addict for about 19 or so years and if someone was stupid enough to offer me a lot, yes I would sell. Then I'd be looking for another.

Seems mine was a 3 door estate before it became a van. A bit odd because I'm pretty sure they never made a 3 door estate. Still got the back seat. If you, or anyone else, could shed some light on this, would be appreciated.

If I could get the glass I'd have a 3 door estate ,which as we all know are the bestist.

I'm severely biased but worth trying to keep. Hope to see yours at Fest of Shite or perhaps a visit on the way if poss.

It's not really an addiction, 305's are decent all round cars, if for whatever reason I had to clear the fleet and have one car, it would be the 305 estate. I'm sure the vans in Europe came with a small side window.

My brother and I had this face off. My Saab had the power advantage and could really snap your head back when overtaking, but the VOlvo could carry much more. I found the Volvo more comfy. As this photo was taken the Saab locked itself with the keys inside, and I had to call the Aa. So the Volvo won, really.

I had a d9 406 saloon. That was a good car, if I'd needed an estate I'd have gone for a 406.

I bet the person in this photo gets a LOT of sex from beautiful women:

attachicon.gifdatsun10.jpg

What car is it though?

It's a 280C, otherwise known as a Cedric.

That man, if he is who I think he is, certainly got his fair share of sex.

I think he's none other than Lofty Drews on the lookout during the 1980 Safari Rally.

He was co piloting Rauno Aaltonen and they placed 2nd behind the Shekhar Mehta/Mike Doughty team.

Joginder Singh/Parker Stevenson came in 8th with one of those motherless five litre Mercedes 450 SLCs.

I just mention this because Joginder is one of my personal heroes, idols and role models.

Thanks for that JM, hadn't heard of Joginder Singh but as you say he was a bit of a hero.

Also making a strong case for 'world's coolest man' in this picture.

I've had a few contenders including a Volvo 240 and a 2 door Astra, but this one was my favourite.

That wee girl just got her first car last month.

I never understood the Ssangyong Rodius - is it an MPV trying to be an estate or a large estate trying to be an MPV

Joginder won his very first Sweden Rally despite he had never even seen snow before in his life, let alone driven on it.

That's what he was like.

And with his repertoire of facial expressions, he would have been right at home in Bollywood.

They might not be up there with the Volvo on loadspace but they have a neat seat folding system with a completely flat floor.

attachicon.gift2000_Mk1_EstPh1_480.jpg

This was the best pic I could find. Note also the rubbing strips to protect the fully carpeted interior.

How many other estates have walnut cappings right to the back of the car? Quality.

had a mk1 :D
