danthecapriman Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 Hell I'd drive anything right now, even my boss's diesel A4. That says something! No you wouldn’t!! Don’t say such things! It’s a bit of a shame you can’t go for this one Eddy. eddyramrod 1
eddyramrod Posted November 28, 2018 Author Posted November 28, 2018 Interestingly, the white van's price has come down. Not much, but the right direction at least. Neither van has any bids...
MorrisItalSLX Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Needs a spot of TLC But look at that bonnet badge - POWERED BY HOLDEN https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1974-Bedford-Van/292844216607?_trkparms=aid%3D777003%26algo%3DDISCL.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140117125611%26meid%3D70b877d036484298b84cc4024c62bb2a%26pid%3D100009%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D273591050160%26itm%3D292844216607&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982 danthecapriman, Banger Kenny, Dirk Diggler and 3 others 6
eddyramrod Posted December 3, 2018 Author Posted December 3, 2018 The price is right at $2.85! I think there's too much work in that one... MorrisItalSLX 1
Sir Snipes Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Earlier front is much nicer, isn't it? eddyramrod 1
kirton Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 if you get a CF2 I have two of the unobtainable ball joints (at least that is what they were sold to me as) - can't remember if they are the top or botton but they aren't the same as the CF1, other is CF1 and can be found. The Opel engine was good - but maybe that was because it was low mileage because in a camper eddyramrod 1

eddyramrod Posted December 13, 2018 Author Posted December 13, 2018 The black van in That There London has been relisted again. He doesn't seem to be taking the hint on price though.

eddyramrod Posted January 9, 2019 Author Posted January 9, 2019 I agree, but how gorgeous is it! MorrisItalSLX 1
eddyramrod Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 How am I the only one to spot this?https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bedford-cf2/183630469189?hash=item2ac13a9845:g:rikAAOSwXi9cN6hl:rk:1:pf:1Yes ok, it's too dear already, especially for a facelift model, but it shows they still exist! eddyramrod Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 Too dear! Like so many, unfortunately. I'm certainly not paying that kind of money for an engineless project.Saying that though: well spotted, thank you. mk2_craig 1
DodgeRover Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Blimey the LWB CF is cheap if not terminally rotten, if it was a transit I would shortly be having serious parking issues... eddyramrod and LightBulbFun 2
eddyramrod Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 If it was a Transit there'd be another zero on the price!
eddyramrod Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 Yes, I thought the same, but that in itself wouldn't have bothered me.
500tops Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Have you seen this? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F264207913740
Billy - Medhurst Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Have you seen this? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F264207913740 That looks a world of pain and cash to sort out. Diesel wont be much fun in one of these either.

Diesel wont be much fun in one of these either.I hadn't seen it but I agree with Mr Medhurst. Far too much expensive work involved in that, to leave me with effectively the wrong van given that it's a facelift diesel. Facelift I don't really want, as in I'd prefer not to; diesel I really don't want, as in I'd walk first. And anyway it isn't a plain van, it's a camper.
500tops Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Other than that, it's perfect mk2_craig and eddyramrod 2
mk2_craig Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Is it feasible/possible to de-facelift a CF2 back to early 1970s appearance, like people do with nineties Minis and that? LightBulbFun 1
eddyramrod Posted February 22, 2019 Author Posted February 22, 2019 I can imagine it being possible, but it'll be a heck of a lot of welding. The front wings and bonnet are different and you'd also need the earlier metal grille panels to weld in, as the later plastic just unbolts. Bumpers and rear lights are also different. And that's before you do anything to the interior!

KruJoe Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Have you seen this yet, good buddy? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bedford-CF-Mark-1-Pick-up-Commercial-Classic-Project/254099243407?hash=item3b297ec18f:g:o88AAOSwQFNbzcjm danthecapriman and eddyramrod 2
eddyramrod Posted March 22, 2019 Author Posted March 22, 2019 Thanks Joe! It slipped off the front page before I spotted it but now I've had a look. This one is more of a project than I'd like to take on.However... in perusing that, I've also spotted this one.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bedford-cf/283424427085?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20160323102634%26meid%3Dcaf1642ed9db43cd9b5aeff0cd91b49f%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D254099243407%26itm%3D283424427085&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1This comes up as a 2.0 petrol that ran out of MoT a year ago. I just wonder what it might need... danthecapriman 1
