I'm possibly providing a car next week for a film shoot in Glasgow so may well be the same film, if not, I have a selection of bangers including a proton saga, 305 estate, w123, 190e, opel senator and volvo 360.

I had a brown 72 Toledo in 1981, and in 1989 a blue Dolly 1850.  So yes, Dolomites could be ideal!

You know, we haven't clearly established whether we're supposed to be looking for a banger-level 1980s car, or a car that would have been a banger in the 80s.  Perhaps we need to get that sorted first!
