What's it like for rot, have seen a few people swap newer Merc engines into these, the estates are desirable so could be a good body for someone if solid.
loserone Posted April 23, 2024 Author Posted April 23, 2024 It seems pretty damned solid. There's a rotten saloon with a OM606 only 10 miles from here.

Boycie Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 The company MG4 is now giving a 300 mile range fully charged , apart from taking a whack while parked ( company fixed with our charging my excess ) it's been perfect .... All for £15 quid a month car tax ...work even pay for charging Cavcraft, yes oui si, loserone and 1 other 4

Dave_Q Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 Have you signed up for the Octopus electroverse thing? You get a card with cheaper rates at many of the public chargers. loserone and Cavcraft 2
loserone Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 Yes, it works really well. Nice that it just adds them to your electric bill too. Cavcraft and Dave_Q 2

It's AN CAR, it's nippy as fool and costs peanuts to cover the lots of miles we do. tonedepear, Sunny Jim, 320touring and 5 others 8

loserone Posted July 22, 2024 Author Posted July 22, 2024 3000 miles into the Zoë. No complaints except around here it could do with about twice as much suspension. I wonder if Duster struts would fit. @vonmon don't write em off entirely. Sunny Jim, vonmon, Dyslexic Viking and 1 other 4
loserone Posted July 22, 2024 Author Posted July 22, 2024 Meanwhile I've been procuring some extra safe seats for the back of the van + these seem to be held in by six self tappers into the floor, all at the front of the seat. Amazing. Not properly fitted yet so will leave a post it on them stating "these seats are not fitted and not testable" for the upcoming MOT. That also means I won't be putting children in them. loserone Posted July 22, 2024 Author Posted July 22, 2024 Talking about an upcoming MOT, the express had it's exhaust tickled And a wheel bearing - this one is about two thousand miles in Wish it luck. Thanks @Jimbob McGregor! yes oui si, Tickman, Dyslexic Viking and 1 other 4
loserone Posted July 30, 2024 Author Posted July 30, 2024 Zoe needed it's 2 year service First of all I needed to give the nice man from the garage a lift to pick up a new* car for his customer. Quick stop for crisps and beers on the way home This Audi parks like James Hunt. Seems the customer has form on the kind of car they like and theirs was declared uneconomical to repair this afternoon. Luckily we knew just where to find a replacement! Got the Zoë on the lift at 2300ish Official Renault service pretty straightforward, only the A service requires CLIP so Jimbob can do every other service without it. tonedepear, Tickman, yes oui si and 1 other 4
