Make the most of this, because I'm rubbish at collecting spots. In fact, this is the first time I've uploaded pics from my phone in a very long time...

 

This one's a cheat. It was sort of work related.

 

This is the Citroen Ami that James May bought at auction earlier in the year, before taking it to Mallorca for a classic rally to be screened on Top Gear presumably over the summer. This shot was actually taken over a month before the sale when I got a sneaky preview of the cars. I fell in love with this little car and took this shot entirely unrelated to both work and Top Gear - as I had no idea they would be at the forthcoming sale at the time.

 

Classy Merc in an unclassy car park in unclassy Peterborough. Probably March or April sort of time. Maybe.

Opel Manta A in Ramsey, Cambs this morning. This was just after spotting a Daimler of some sort (Conquest possibly) but I was still driving at that point.

 

And there you have it. Several months of spots condensed into three pics. I'm rubbish.

Don't worry I'm totally crap at spotting as well, Loads of tat round my way but I'm dire at getting the camera out in time, as this shot of a Reliant Ant i past on the A14 the other day proves!.

Aye, Tipo/Tempras are almost extinct now. I used to see a boggo faded red Tipo most days but I think it's been scrappaged for a Volvo C30

There's a used car place up near Grimsby that have what looks to be a tidy Tempra estate for sale. It's been sat on their lot for a very long time. Probaly a year or more. It was originally up for £650 but I expect it might have got a bit cheaper than that by now

There seems to be a lot of TR7's popping up on tatBay at the moment, most of them are shagged though. Doesn't stop me wanting one though. Great spot DW

i have been to diggerland! About 6 years ago now.Haha its pretty good you know, i drove a full size JCB at the age of 12. win.Old diggers and stuff are well cool, my uncle had a 20 year old agricultural forklift up until last year i think, and it sounded mega good, the metallic scraping of the engine used to wake me up when we visited.

Its good at diggerland (HE Services really, I presume these toys go on the fleet after a year to squeeze the taxman..) you can even ski in febuary at the Kent one, great fun dragging the kids to the top because the pull lifts to powefull for them....

Now, I'm rubbarsh at spotting, but this was a big one, so I slammed on the anchors as I hurtled along the A68 north of Darlington because in the distance, I could see this!

I only had a cursory glance at it as some old fellow was clearly a bit bemused as to why a stripey Citroen suddenly stopped outside his house before a hairy bloke leapt out with his camera and started snapping away. It doesn't look too bad actually, though the paintwork is epically bad in a way the photos cannot really capture. I didn't hang around for a price and scarpered as the barky dogs were scaring me.

I think this car will become a legend some day.someone on here should buy it and hide it somewhere waiting to be spotted by somone else. That person can then claim ownership and hide it somewhere else for the next 'shiter to find it. I think thats the best idea i've had in about 6 years.

FUCK YEAH!!I also think we should each be given a govt. grant to finance our plans - ie, 'find the badly painted Maxi', buy the zero mileage coach for trips to council estates to ponder old heaps, buy Brammy a feckin' car before he explodes etc etc...
