New Shite Incoming - Horriblish MG Maestro Purchased

I've been hankering after something a bit older again. The Cadillac and Panda are fun but still modern therefore have no nostalgia linked to them, which for me anyway is part of owning a car that isn't for daily tractor duties.

 

The problems I have are I have a limited budget.

I don't want a project with no mot (already have 2 of them). I don't mind a bit of fettling but I want to be able to use it.

I'd like a bit of scope to improve it and maybe get my money back at some time in the future.

 

I needed to sell MrsC's Daihatsu to free up my shite fund but some turned up and took it away on Saturday, the shite gods aligned and I ended up buying something.

 

I was all set for a kollection but I called the chap up and he was obviously so desperate to get rid of it he offered to deliver it to me. It just turned up. 

 

Anyone want to take a guess?

Check out this arch repair. The arches feel solid but god knows how much chicken wire is in there.

It's got a years mot and seems structurally sound. Lots of trim looks like its about to fall off.

I've not driven it yet but it sounds okay. I probably spent too much on it.

 

Can't wait for a drive of it!
