That 850 coupe is simply gorgeous :D I had a '66 coupe that never made it to the road despite having £££s spent :( The former Mrs P saw to that

Nice.

But wait!

Do I spy the word 'trotter' on the sticker in the window?!

When will the madness end?

My, that's rather lovely!

I'd love one of those Bonds. Crap build quality, not enough wheels yet an Imp engine. At the back. Wheely ahoy!

What gearbox would this be?
That doesn't help, I was looking for type9, type4, MT75 ect (Ok 2 of these are 5 speeds, but you get the idea)

In days of old, this would have been plundered by the tuning boys purely for the 1300 Pinto's cylinder head - it was the best starting point, apparently.

I stuck a cheeky snipe in last night, for £165, I have won it for £155! The as says its 'very rusty' but i thought it had the air of a fairly straight one, even if it was scruffy, so i'm taking a bit of a chance on it. If its got galloping rot, i'm certainly not spending weeks welding it up! But at £155 it must be the cheapest one of those on the bay for a good few months so its worth a gamble I reckon.

Went to collect this last night. Came home without it, it was ROTTEN. it lokoed pretty decent on the outseide but the inner rear arches were non-existent. outer sills looked great but inner sills were gone, all the way along. Fornt valance disappeared completely. A real shame as it had very few dents and was in its original paint all over. 44k and loads of bills and history. Engine bay was immaculate and the engine was running super sweet. It would be a good project if i had not done any welding for a long time, but was a serious metalwork project (for which absolutley no panels are available) and I could not be doing with another of those. I paid the sellers fees and came home again. The seller was sound, he didnt mind, if he had kicked off I would have taken it cos he did say in the ad it had bad rust problems. Anyway after paying his fees and my petrol I spent £50+ to not buy anything ! Can't go doing that too often.

DRIVE QUALITY

Surely that's an oxymoron when applied to a Marina.
Which is also an anagram of dirty evil qua and daylit quiver, Make of that as you wish...

You just know that any magazine article about the Quantum would have been hilariously titled "Quantum Physics".

One of a couple of 216's on at the moment:

Chances of disastrous amounts of rot lurking?...

Saw one on the road last weekend, to be seen on here soon.

BTW, is that van in the background a Kia Pride? Surely Mazda didn't do a 121 van, did they? Can be seen again in a pic for the seller's splendid Omega.

Or you could have a shot of it jumping over a hill, "Quantum Leap".
