Is it me, or does that Ital bear a trange resembelance to on Ovlov 260 c.......................

Dont you believe 'em? Seems reasonably credible to me.

The car does look to be in fairly good shape but whenever I see a low number "5 digit" mileometer I'd be tempted to add 100k to the advertised mileage.I've also owned cars with mileages over 100k and you'd never believe it when you sat in them - almost good as new.Saw a Hyundai Elantra the other month in a breakers yard over here in Holland, showing 300,000+ Km on the clock - it was virtually mint, apart from the modified bodywork due to a shunt! :)

I'd be very suprised if a Pony pickup could clock 119,000 miles and still look like that!

Yeah, I drove Joncedrisc 6000-mile one and it felt like driving a sink unit with a mixer tap on it. Great car though!

Ta Mr B. Got one -that I cant paint till the Rozzers are finished with the lowlife that stole it (whilst posing as a sparayer and taking 1800 of my hard earned pennies. Are you suggesting I'm follically challenged? I hadnt noticed!

Errmmm. :shock:I love how it says "The shell is well gone" as if it has just rusted away to nothing and is beyond saving. When on inspection of his feedback, one is suprised perhaps to find that the shell has not succumbed to terminal corrosion, but rather it has been flogged seperately.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0252763734Crumbs.

As you can see from the pics it looks a bit s***

Too right mate! Its also a 1.1 AUTOMATIC so not only does it look shit, it drives shit. NEXT!
That's splendid, just as well I no longer live in Leics or I'd be all over that.

Would spend a weekend reversing all the window-licker mods, sand a bit more paint off then drive round 'til the transmission chucked it

No-one bid on this at £400, even after the inevitable pulling of the auction be the eBay waqners and subsequent re-listing in the right section. So I wrote to the geezer and offered him 300. He has ignored me and relisted it at 200. So, I have SLIPPED ONE IN via the BACK PASSAGE.... fingers x'd! It will give me something to take my mind off that old subaru.

Hey, that Princess looks CLASS!!Hope you win it, I imagine one of those would be GR8 4 mincing about in.

They've got the right model of van to be Trottered up - a Rialto with the windows blocked up would win extra shite points. Wonder why no-one's done a Del Boy style mkII Capri yet?Hope you win that Princess, Mr B - it's reet lovely.

Good luck with the Princess. Mr B. Aren't some sellers muppets- near identical situation with the Barkas -saved me over £100. Lovely

He did race it at Wimbledon first at the Pre 75 meeting, and it survived to go back out at Westworld, it was the last 'proper' banger meeting at Wimbledon before the low emissions thing came in... removes anorak

That Hunter didn't meet his maker at Wimbledon as quoted in the text; they don't have banger racing there anymore due to the congestion zone and the fact that most banger drivers (myself included, when I did it) drive around in shitty old Ford Cargos which chuck out more shit than you can possible shake a stick at.

As he lives in Newquay, could be Westworld...?

It seems my fleabay listing has touched a few nerves among us  as I have mentioned on here before, I am not a member of this site as some kind of ambassador for banger racing but because I am into old cars in many different ways (banger racing included) that Hunter estate wasn`t as good as it looked in the pics, plenty of patch weld repairs and filler covered by a thick shiny paint job covered a multitude of sins, but it`s quality of interior/exterior trim inspired me to strip this one carefully and offer it to the masses at what I think is a reasonable price?? and just to clarify the situation....it was first raced at Wimbledon pre 75 meeting on May 4th 2008 (the last "proper" banger meeting there) and as it survived it was brought back and raced the following day at Westworld near Newquay where it finished the day in the state shown in the picture,

in fresh race prep guise at Wimbledon:

and just to prove I do like old stuff apart from "smashing em up" here is my 2 current road cars
