Although I'm not keen on the late 80's pastel colours and grafics, I think that Panhard carries of the Pro-street look pretty well. I think it'd be better as a coupe done in a straight, period metallic colour and with the original brighwork retained.

Vintage cars made from 2CV's always raise a smile. Best one I've seen was this home made 'Blower Bentley' from the show at Harewood House earlier in the year. Brilliant! :lol: ...

The idea of an Autoshite swingers week sounded vaguely appealing, but imagine the disappointments that could ensue, car keys in the bowl, but instead of that nice Lancia Gamma Berline you end up with a Chrysler PT Cruiser (and that "lady" - I'm sure her name used to be Jean-Claude when he used to play on the wing for Tolouse)Posted Image

I am hoping for some decent interior bits but I can't help but think it's unlikely. The interiors don't seem to be all that durable. I could do with quite a few other parts from it which are likely to be okay though.

It has a hand-operated crane and a winch powered by a Mini engine

Both the engines need work as the mini engine is also partly dismantled.

 

Get your own back on the scene Mini mob by robbing one for its engine to make this gentleman work once again

I was investigating the chances that I could view, collect and find room for this - but it's looking unlikely. Looks bargain-tastic to me - Series 1, GTX (so 2.2), manual. Ace colour inside and out.

 

With a £50 BIN I guess someone is most likely to pick it up for scrap - or have the prices dropped even lower now?

That RENNA vingt-cinq is a mega bargain, I would love it! quelle surprise that its in fuggin Devon though, meaning a £100+ touch just to get the damn thing back to the workshop. Even £150 is not a rip off like, but the real cost is £150, plus a day off work, plus loads of fannying about, plus a day suffering the 'churning stomach' feeling I always get before embarking on an A-frame mission.I hope it finds a good home!

I share your pain, there's rarely any half-decent tat around here so I'm always having to arrange getting stuff brought over. Even if it's taxed and MOTed it can be a ballache, the Galant and Charmant were only about 100 miles away and with train ticket (£50), one day insurance (£15), fuel (£20-30) we're looking at nearly a ton and that's with the owner being happy to pick me up from the station, God knows what it'd be like with added taxi fares.My greatest expense was obtaining the Mazda 323 Wagon from Glasgow on a recovery truck, which took the driver all day and a hell of a lot of fuel, if it wasn't such a cool little motor and damn cheap to boot, it'd make me sick thinking about how much it cost. Though in absolute cost for the car it didn't work out too badly I guess.Still, I'll continue to pursue these tat re-distribution missions as if I adopted the "Yeah I would love that but I can't have it as it's further away than my county/my town/walking distance/my driveway" attitude of some forums, I'd not have any crocks at all. Glad that on this forum a proper effort is made, keep on truckin' etc.
