Spottedlaurel Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 That Micra is early enough to still be listed by DVLA as a Datsun!
michiel Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Cool little cars, especially this LIBRArian special edition where the stickers were applied in the wrong spot... Or did they sell one for every starsign?

Torsten2001 Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Boring but the winner wanted it in a month when I just want shot of it, he was so apologetic that I couldn't hate him so I bunged it back on. I was pottering about in it today and it's growing on me, I may just pull it!
Spottedlaurel Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I was pottering about in it today and it's growing on me, I may just pull it!That's what the Accord did with me.

Dead_E23 Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 What a superb Alfa 6, Mr_Bo11ox! I've only seen one of those in the metal, ever - going through Shoreham car auctions sometime around 1989. Istr it making 50 quid - which I regrettably didn't have at the time because I was a skint student. Even so, I was spellbound by its rarity and shiteyness!
Twinspark Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280106388951 I think I'm in love.

Triang Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 "I HAVE A PHOTO OF IT OUTSIDE THE WOOLPACK ARMS (EMMERDALE) AND ONE OUTSIDE AIDENFIELD STORE (HEARTBEAT)"That sells it to me. Twinspark Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Wow!That's awesome.Looks pretty damned solid, too. Shouldn't be a major mission to get it back on the road, I wouldn't have thought.

pogweasel Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Well it would be perfect if the steering wheel was on the correct side...
wuvvum Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Well it would be perfect if the steering wheel was on the correct side...That honestly doesn't bother me. I've had dozens of LHD cars - the Yanks, the Renault Novaquatre, the Maserati and now the Rayton - and I've never had any problem with them. And insurance isn't an issue as my trader's policy doesn't care what side the steering wheel's on. In fact I'm high bidder on the skoda right now.

I don't mind at all either....For me, it will often enhance the driving experience, as it's DIFFERENT from the norm....I definately wouldn't let it put me off a decent car! Wuvvum....You're a fine chap, but I can't decide if You're a hero or quite mad!
pogweasel Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Now that IS interesting.I've never driven a left-hooker, and I've always been a bit worried about doing so.But that Pug 204 wagon on RR is winking at me. HARD.
wuvvum Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 that Pug 204 wagon on RR is winking at me. HARD. That would be well worth having. And at 150 quid it's got to be a bargain. Are you still going for that Auto Union thing as well?
