Sold Early Xantia sinker for reluctant sale

I have an impending arrival and no room. I want to keep it but then again I want to keep them all.

 

My Xantia needs to go to another home. Tried selling it before for more money but no luck. Anyone want it for £300? Got to be worth more but want an easy transaction. I don't want it to be run into the ground and thrown away though, its better than that.

 

No rust anywhere, 140,000 but most of that was done years ago. It has had a very easy life. Mint interior. A few minor bits on body but generally very good. Original Zender bodykit. VSX alloys. Mot til next year but hardly done any miles since the last one.

 

Really nice 6 digit number plate

 

Faults? When booted it whistles from the turbo. But not like the noise a knackered turbo makes, it sounds like a blockage with air whistling past it. Its been like this since I had it. It also needs a wheel bearing. Strangely it didn't need one but it was stood for a couple of months then when next driven it was noisy. Very unusual. Can't be bothered to sort that but I will give you another good hub. It should do several more miles like this.

 

Will add photos later.

 

Please look after it, I could use it myself and dog it as a work car but it is better than that.

 

Would swap if I really had to, but would rather have a simple deal but try me.

Its been on eBay several times for £595, barely a sniff

 

I'm amazed it hasn't sold, I think its the best looking Xantia I've seen hence why I bought it!

 

A caring home is more important to me than the money, I was offered more than £300 on eBay and turned it down

It has the badge on the bonnet so it is quite an early one. L plate though, the very first were K

Yes black textured upper, chrome strip then red paint below.

 

No interior bits left, just lights, mirrors and front suspension

Just guessed, few years back i got a quote for something with a bodykit that was way expensive.

I never mentioned the kit, as far as I'm concerned it's factory fit and therefore doesn't need declaring.
