Nope... Two versions were available, GR (very Basic) and GL (Basic), no options. Both had same mechanics.

They were rebadged Mazda Bongos (E-series), Holden Commodore Utes were available with column shift up to 2000 (cannot remember if they were manual or auto). Column shift was popular in Australia up to the 1990s

In Europe it was abandoned with the 1975 "Series 2" facelift (which was actually in mid 74).

Produktion in Kano startet 74 with the "Series 2" Version,, the ones made in Nigeria never had column change.

yes, you are right about that. I am not sure they even did 504 pickups in Nigeria, they assembled 404 pickup's there.

I like these anachronistic Taxis. Note the wing mirrors and the lace seatcover in the rear view mirror. The big lever with the red knob opens the nearside rear door.

That floor rot is so common on French cars. They don't worry about it so much for MOT out there. I had a Simca with both outer sills made of fibreglass and the seat was also held in with the stuff. It still had a French test though. I keep meaning to get a 16 one day after trying a TX 30 odd years ago, the bloke sold it before I could get the cash together.. If I did get one it would have to be a TX but they rotted worse than the earlier cars so finding a good one is getting harder even in France. My 204 is also column change so it was probably a French thing back in the 60's/70's. I pressume you have tried Leboncoin for wings ? I have just brought back 2 front ones for my 204 that are perfect for 40 euro each. I am also hoping to pick up a brand new rear one for the same money when I am next in France in August.

Evidently this kind of floor rot is of no concern to the TÜV either.

Of course I haven't tried France for a front wing yet, but it's a French forum where I was told they are unobtainium.
