We all do it, 'watch' or 'favourite' shite on ebay, Gumtree, Autotrader either out of morbid curiosity or because there's a genuine need/want.

 

Obviously we don't want to share direct links, because these are ours and ours alone and no-one else can have them ever, ever, ever (ie. I'll show you mine if you show me yours, but hands off....)

 

My list of shame currently comprises

 

  • Rover Streetwise with 3 months MoT, 120K miles, busted passenger seat, non-working driver's window and four bald tyres
  • Nissan Micra K11 (very many - having said that, I am viewing an absolute beaut on Sunday which may be purchased - seller being very accommodating, goes down as the most relaxed car sale ever as neither of us can get our shit together to be in the same place at the same time)
  • Rover 25 (many - old shape only please, do not like the series 2)
  • City Rover (I'm still really sore I missed one for £80 with minor rust, so have over compensated with an overpriced £500 example)
  • Couple of rustbucket Nissan Almeras with a gazillion miles each
  • That Nissan Sunny (sold for £530 in the end - bargain

a couple of elderly 3 litre camry's, one is 25 years old and done 155k for £650, and the other is a mear 17 years old and done 55k.

 

several hornby dublo "super detail" mark 1 coaches. cos i like them and i NEED them.

 

dinky mini's, and a couple corgi triumph heralds and mini-marcos..

 

some austin metro body panels,

 

a picture pride display case thing to put more trains and/or diecast cars in,

 

and an antique silver picture frame....

Of course, that's what a filthy saddle sniffer would say, so I probably can't win here.

I've raised my Streetwise from the £300 effort (now sold) to one in gopping Tornado Yellow with no MoT for £150....
