Old Vauxhall Panel

[The Old Bloke Next Door]

 

Anyone know what model this fits, its a front panel Vauxhall/ Bedford part no.7207136, 81cms 32 inch's  long x 30cms/12 inch's deep. a Google search has failed to identify it,

Given the width and headlight cut outs I'd say it's 1960s, Viva HA or Victor FB.

Looks like HA Viva or Bedford HA van front panel/slam panel area.

I don't think it's a HA panel, I'm sure the opening was angled on them, not rectangular

Looking at some pics your right. Definitely not an HA panel. The grill opening is the wrong shape.

Agree on not an HA. I've checked every post war Vauxhall I can think of up to 1979 that I can think of including Besforss CA and CF but it's not one of them. Definitely a front panel?

HB Viva is possible.  I have a parts book at home so can look it up for you, but won't be back until Thursday.  Whichever it is from, it'll be worth selling as someone will want it.

Judging by the size and shape that is from one of their vans or small trucks c1960.

We are looking at this panel on the reverse side that's for sure.

 

The curved section at the top in the middle should face the front.

 

But it's befinitely not HB Viva as that car has more raised pressings at the top, but I think we are close!

I'm going to say that this is the inner skin of the front panel of an HB Viva, that fits under the slam panel to strengthen it. Looking at the large square aperture, it's got those 2 little humps along the bottom and if you look at the blue one, it's got that banana shaped cut out at the top next to the square apertures.
