2.4 auto, MOT July and he says the bonnet will close. Looks like frag material to me, but someone may want it.

£150, he's in Chester somewhere I think.

As the whoopee cushion has gone off, seatbelt tensioner will have probably fired too, will cost a fair wedge to put right, James Brown time tbh

I've told him all this this afternoon, I think he's just trying to help someone out. Euthanasis is defo the way forward for it.

Looks pretty easy to fix. New steering wheel airbag, seatbelt pre-tensioner and probably airbag computer. No idea if Volvo code their airbag computers into the network or if you can just swap them. Then just new bumper and probably crash bar behind. If you have a scrapyard nearby with an S80 in, it's likely you could get this sorted in a day. Providing the Airbag ECU is a straight swap.

Yeah it's easily do-able, but it's the cost of the 2nd hand bits, vs the age of it, and these things go for buttons even mint nick

You can pick these up for £5-700. By the time you've fucked about etc...

I thought the majority of people on here bought things cheap, spent more than the car is worth fixing it then sell it on at a loss when bored of it?

Someone needing one or two big suspension or interior parts should find this a bargain surely?

Im also surprised the svm haven't tried to take it to its homeland and nurse it back to health using nothing but a one way train ticket and tebay service station...

You're learning!

It's not a fixer, but for that coin a great source of spares. How much a working Volvo autobox again?
