Due to imminent replacement, Miss_Outlaw's 306 will shortly be for sale.

Good bits:

Pretty light metallic blue

MoT till August

Taxed to get you home (probably)

Recent front track rods/arms

Recent new sump pan, coil packs, plugs

Decent tyres

Half leather interior

Been 100% reliable, not one FTP evar

New GSF TRIMZYO

No rust underneath.... see below

Probably missed summert but I CAN HAZ CIDER....

Bad Bits

Dimpled tailgate

Rear Wiper not working

Various clonks and knocks - think exhaust needs fettling, and rear bushes

Leaks oil from top of engine, hence underside rust-free

Bonnet a bit dented due to insurance scam PHAIL

What do you reckon? Is £300 a bit salty?

Will try and find a pic....

Anyone up for a roffle - £5 each?

I had that engine in a Citroen ZX and I was surprised how economical it was. I also has a 306 in 1.9d estate flavour and it was a lovely car to drive, comfy and handled well. Have a free bump. I think it needs those photos though to whet the appetite.

Essex, I believe.

Nice colour that light metallic blue. This one seems to run on the wrong fuel but I might be up for a couple of tickets, Sir Robert.

This is Mrs S's old car. It's a while since it went to the land of pie and mash, but when we had it, it was a cracker. Great on juice and a pleasant thing to drive. I'm more than sure it'sas good if not better than it was when we had it.

Verdict: BARG.

I will give her a clean up hopefully tomorrow and get some photos tooken.

I'm in Grays, Essex right by J30/31 of the M25 and Lakeside, 40 mninutes from central London on t' rail.

I'd be up for roffle tickets. A friendly mechanic should sort those issues out no problems*.

has yer rear axle got wonky trailing arm bearings?

If not there maybe an offer in your PM !

Posted

It's never been mentioned in MoT's or owt... however there's some clonking going on, wouldn't want to say 100% what's causing it....

Posted

Dunno if it's the same setup as a zx but when I was 1000% sure my rear end was clonking, after re bushing it and it still clonked the front bottom ball joints ans/or droplinks turned out to be the cause.

I r shit at these things though so may be very wrong.

Looks a fair price for the age and condition to me. Always liked the 306's reckon it do someone a decent turn and these bits and pieces could be sorted mostly from a weekends work and a trip to a decent breakers.

Right, SWMBO has given me a two week window to get Mr Puglet gone.

Will come with HBOL, spare sump gasket, and the original radio/cd player refitted, albeit showing a "code 13" error - probably needs a code.

I will also chuck in some lovely glossy hardback books - as seen @ AMM auction meet, and if Billy wins, some jellied eels or summert.

Please give generously. £4 one ticket £7 for two, £10 for 3.

Sadly not down for any sweet roffle action due to already being maxed out on 1.4-litre 306s, plus ours is older, more knackered and has a write-off in its history. It's therefore immortal.

Free bump and may its next custodian experience joy.

Full compliment of electrical windows and I'm sure I spy an auto wiper sensor too. Top spec I think the meridian was? Not bad looking motor at all sir.

After being pissed about on ebay and gumtree, i'm getting serious earache about getting this shifted. Revised ticket prices, or buy outright for £175 shiter's price.

Cheers
