Ghosty Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 I didn’t get one either. I sort of need the money to build a new PC anyway.
gm Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 could you not set up your own somewhere ? all* you need is a car park, some cones and a stopwatch - wcpgw ?!?

The Moog Posted January 5, 2018 Author Posted January 5, 2018 Just to check, is this one an Autosolo?Yes and PCA. dollywobbler 1
dollywobbler Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Never remember which way to go only done tracks can't do airfields cos thick I was worried I'd get lost when I did the one at Manchester. It was really simple though. Well, the route was simple. Finding the quickest way around it was rather more of a challenge! I've booked the Lexus in for LOLs, but may yet dig the 2CV out for similar wallowy lols, but a rather smaller fuel bill. loserone 1
UltraWomble Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Next Blackburn autotest is 18th Feb if anyone fancies it. I have booked my place alreadyI'd love to have a crack at this sometime but as its Feb and caravan site closed ( and Im fairly sure its not my weekend in work) then I think I'll pootle down the M65 and have a sken a this. I'll be the fat bastard in a dented Almera. eddyramrod 1
Alfamale Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 I definitely want a go in this once the Clio Williams is sorted!
The Moog Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 How many got booked on in the end?? I need to update my car
dollywobbler Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 I'm in. Still not sure what in. Have realised I need the 2CV on the road this month, so I need to get the handbrake tightened up (not for Autosolo, it's on the front wheels) and get an MOT on it. The Moog 1
The Moog Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 Just sent an email to update my steed for the day. Who else is confirmed for the event?
dollywobbler Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Yes, though my choice of vehicle is entirely dependant on an MOT on Monday.
dollywobbler Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 There are still places available if anyone is interested. Club membership is a mere £5 per year, and I think it's £30 for the day itself. Lots of fun to the pound! I was buzzing like crazy after the Manchester Classic Car Show test last year. I'll be in the 2CV, so if nothing else, you'll get to see some comedic bodyroll. The Moog 1

If I end up with 2 working cars in time for the next one, I shall endeavour to attend. chaseracer 1
dollywobbler Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 Just to say that Spectators are welcome. Action begins at 11am, Jct 4 services on the M65 in Blackburn.
