Perhaps an explanation...

On Monday my appalling track record with cars surfaced again when the Xantia of otherwise perfect functionality developed a misfire and caught fire a bit. Whilst repairable the event confirmed something I'd suspected for a while... I don't like it enough to chuck big money at it, especially with some looming hydraulic overhauls and cosmetic issues it's just a bit too much.

So what to do?

It had not gone unnoticed that JohnK put his Volvo 850 up for sale recently and with hankering for another being strong it was a no brainer.

Which is why I was off in this;

 

 

To collect these;

 

 

With Andy CMS on his way here to assist in collection. Be nice to sit behind the wheel of a Volvo again.

 

TL;DR SVM bringing another Volvo north.
