The View from your Office Window (car related)

The view from my window is very dreary.    If I walk down the corridor to the mail room I could have taken this shot about 35 years ago.   Unfortunately it is now a sewage farm (no TR7 jokes, please)

Any chance of a picture of it now for a comparison?

That photo is interesting in as much as I didn't know Lotus Europas and Jensen Healeys were exported to , presumably, the US. Also can't see any E-Types amongst the Midgets,Spitfires,TR6es, MGBs , Marinas ( Austins, presumably) and even a couple of 88" Landies.

Like many workplaces it is a bit difficult to waltz around with a camera these days.....However, this is just about the same location, today.

Oh, and just to make you feel a little bit older it's probably nearer 45 than 35 years!

Yeah, thanks!    Working it out properly, it is probably more like 47.   I am 99pc certain this was taken from our building when it was first erected as a (temporary) office block in 1972.

I have only been incarcerated here for a mere 19 years....

Looking at your pictures is enough to distract me let alone hearing them!

Funnily enough, the Peugeot got my attention through the exhaust bouncing off the walls. The F1 was silent and just saw it appearing through the window.

Today's view... '98 Volvo Jonckheere in for fettling before MOT, '97 Volvo Alexander in for 28-day inspection and one of the pair of '92 Volvo-powered Leyland Tigers behind that just creeping into shot.

As an aside, here is a view of my office; meant to do this before but forgot, I think Chris was interested in offices in workshops etc!

Nothing really interesting out of our house window (carer for wife so no "office" window) mainly modern shite and my jag although next door and next door but 1 both have 53ish plate golfs.

Around the village though is a maxi plus something covered in front of it, guy used to have an 85 Saab 900 but that's being replaced by a modern suv something or other.

There is a nice looking Aston Martin that I've seen, possibly a V8 vantage from the 80's.

There was an 02 rover 45 up the road yesterday but otherwise it's modern stuff everywhere.

The weather must be warmer in Wales for you to set your Desk up outside!

It is a lovely day, but not that warm. The 'office' is in the end of the house you can just see.
