Wow! A 55-plate 'prestige' car for under a grand! I'm sure that in its native country, it would sell for at least five times the amount you paid for it

That Sat-Nav looks totally "California Games".

WANT.

Not only is it a REAL Cadillac (Not like the EU only BLS, which is just a Saab 93), but you paid next to bugger all for it!

You sir, are a legend! :D

Wow that looks so good for the money. I have the opposite problem to you, if Mrs 6C had seen that I reckon she would have despatched me to Ayr!

Cort might be dispatched to air, via a kick up the arse from his mrs

They guy seemed a little too cheerful that he'd sold it at that money. All will be revealed tomorrow in my epic 7 mile collection mission!

The issue is we really need a new kitchen floor and oven not another car. Oh well!

He's probably happy he shifted it off his lot. I bet it was a part-ex or something he paid bugger all for. If it went to auction I bet it'd sell for a lot less as most places wouldn't want to even touch it.

The garage I bought my Laguna v6 from was happy to see it bugger off from his lot after being there 6months. Not only taking room up, stopping other stock going there, but also costing money in Autotrader fees. So even though he made a loss, he could make it up with new stock.

Do a quote on webuyanycar, and I reckon thats not far off what he would have paid. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of garages use it to determine part-ex cost.

Indeed.   Just one of the many reasons living here is not all it's cracked up to be...

Although I will still hold out for a ctsv, someday, I didn't realise these were so "affordable" and for that, plus Ayr being only an hour off the ferry for me, I r jelus.

I got home from work, dropped the car at the train station and thus followed a punishing train journey down the Scottish riviera.

Departure time 13:39, arrival time 13:45

I got picked up from the station and taken to the car, I put so little effort into buying it I just kicked the tyres and set off.. Put 20 quids worth of petrol in it and headed to Halfords to get some stone chip for the cortina. Here is it styling in Halfords car park.

Back home to the house of funny looking cars.

I've got a double garage I keep the cortina in. One half is filled with Cortina and the other half is filled with bits of cortina and assorted pig iron. I think I've managed to move enough shite around to get the Panda in the non cortina side, which will hopefully keep everyone happy.

You have one of those mental Daihatsu box things too?

Not the prettiest thing, but fairly inoffensive looking imo. I suspect most BMW drivers won't fully realise how quick it is. 0-60 in 7 seconds is pretty respectable. Being an big engine Auto-box, it's going to feel pretty darn rapid. A bit of wolf in sheep clothing's.

Thank you. not only did this make me chuckle but I showed it to my Mrs to prove I wasn't that bad after all :-)
