First available date for me, Air show 28th, Winslow show 29th, Whittlebury show 3rd, Cholmonseley 4th, Citroen Rally 10/11th. I wanted as soon as possible after that to try and catch dry weather before winter comes. I have keep 24/25 free for reserve. So a bit like cricket sometimes rain might help you!.

Being our own field of Dreams another day/weekend this year is possible but not in wet weather because of the mud. Anybody want to organise something is welcome to use our place.

Edit - Maybe both weekends, if they are dry?

You have missed twice, Shitefest 2016 in June and our August get it going day!

It would be great to see the plastic bike.

A maybe is all I can expect because I need it to be dry or we could end up with a mud bath. I guess we have hard standing parking for a dozen or so cars but not being to drive in the paddock would spoil things.

How much do you trust 10-day weather forecasts*? I had a look and it reckons showers thursday night and friday morning, is this likely to turn the field into a swamp?

Sat says some showers early on but nice in the afternoon - shall I write over the pencil in my calendar with a stolen Argos biro or hold off for a bit longer?

Mrs 6C reading of the forecast is a mainly dry week so the odd shower will not matter. I am very hopeful it will be on at the moment.

I planned to order it today but have not had time, tomorrow I promise.

But the LNA now starts the clutch works and it has gears, no moving test as the exhaust is hanging on the floor and I have no radiator.

Well that did not go to plan, I called Matts Soft Tops to order and they are 2 weeks delivery so that is not going to happen this weekend.

Six-cylinder, do you have the starting handle for the tiddly truck? If you bring that I reckon there's a good chance we can get it going without a tow (although that's much less fun).

I have found two starting handles at home but neither of them seem right for tiddly truck so we will have to tow start it. I know somebody who is good at being towed!
