Not sure what to get next as my main car

£60 Skoda. With the change you can buy a big bag of cocaine and have enough left for an all nighter with a couple of porn star hookers.

Job done.

WCPGW with running an LS400 as your daily?

Absolutely nothing. I did for six months.

The best six months ever.

Well, the results are. Over a mixture of A roads and motorways with a few 20 mile round trip commutes too, all of which involved driving to* the limit heres the scores on the doors

I make that just over 28mpg.

So, for fuel economy i can thoroughly recommend a V8. You heard it here first.

Not sure if you hear me mention last night but our 1.2 Chevy Aveo only managed 11mpg more than that in the 5 years we owned it.

As such I fully endorse your size/type of car!

You need my dad's old V70.

Go on?

A big cheap smoker for a month or two could be considered, I'll be moving my dad into a home shortly and will need to empty his house.

This a similar feeling to seeing an ex doing much better with somebody far more attractive than you. BUT FAR WORSE.

Have you got a web cam in my house?

So far the search has included, but has not been limited to, BMW 330d, 330i, 130i, 840(!), Jeep Grand Cherokee Hemi, Alfa 156/159 JTD, Holden Ute and fuck knows what else.

I might do a cheap estate smoker e to cart my dads stuff about, we'll see. The £650 P38 Rangey down his way has sold :(

There's got to be an E500 estate out there somewhere with your name on it.

Mason's MOT runs out in under three months now. I rather guiltily remember the MOT failure that Dan got on it after running it for eight months. I obviously got it with an 'MOT' rather than an MOT.

My point is, don't get too dispondent juuuuuuuuust yet.

Oh, and V8 Mercedes estate, you say?

See i've done the w210 thing and jolly good it was too, apart from the cylinder head going 3 days after i bought it. So no, not again. Been there and done that.

I plan on having a nosy under the Lexus at some point to see its chances of getting through another MOT. It definitely needs some bushes, I'll give it a prod to see how rusty it is first before i go nuts on fixing things though...

There appears to be no structural corrosion in its MOT history, and apart from "EXHAUST IN POOR CONDITION" as an advisory on the last MOT I'd say it's looking positive.

If the exhaust is gubbed I think the most senssble thing to do would be to bridge it and call it a day go the whole hog and get a proper stainless steel set-up with no crossover for that proper off-beat burble.

I hope to still have this in June and would like to see it through an MOT. I'd rather spend a few quid to keep it on the road than have it engine raped by some knuckle dragging tattoo'd fuckwit to stick in something and go drifting.

I can't weld though so hopefully it doesn't need any of that....

You're a bad man Cort. Keep up the good work. I am on the beer so who knows...

I quite like those v6 Passats, they look pretty plain, go live fuck but have a nice interior.

Wow, you do find them don't you? £500 tax puts me off the Citroen. It's close though so no harm in looking...

Have been talking to this chap

The badly painted door is outweighed by the LPG and decent history.

It'll probably go nowhere but you never know.

Also been emailing folk about £500 V70 Estates close by.

I should probably go for a lie down.
