Sorry I missed this I was on treasure hunt to retrieve a phone that a friend left in a taxi on Sat night.

MGC, Lotus Exige, Mini pickup, air-cooled Beetle... no I think we can safely say all welcome!

19° and fair next Sunday. Unless something crops up, I'll bring the mx-5 down for a run.

Anyone else for this?  Looks like it'll be a reasonable day tomorrow, and our last chance for a gathering, for a while!

For those who can: it's at Jo-n-Lee's Cafe, which is on the north end of the Promenade, almost opposite Happy Mount Park.  Kickoff should be about 10am, until 1-ish.

I'll have to see if my partner will look after my kids. My mother usually has them on a weekend but she's ill.

I may have a present for you if I can make it. ?

This is a goer for me. She said I shouldn't need to ask.

I'll see you tomorrow. How will I know which one is you? ?

You can always ask the fat bloke with the brown Cadillac, he will know.  Whether he will tell you the truth is a whole other question!

That's funny, I was just thinking before how much I'm starting to resemble the great Frank Cannon!

Do you have a postcode?

Joe n lee's cafe is nowhere near to Happy Mount Park on google maps.

I'm afraid I don't, sorry.  If you're driving north "up" the Prom, then it's on your left after the park; if you're going south, as I will be, then if you get to the park you've gone too far.  Best I can offer, sorry.

Anyone else fancy this?  I'll be setting off within the hour.

@paulplom have a great car-boot, but please, don't drag yourself all the way over here!  The meet is off and I won't be going to Morecambe.

Sent him a message of Facebook in case he sees that first

Aw, so sorry Paul!  If you head up the A6 you will find a boot sale, so your trip won't be quite wasted.  In fact if you do that I'll bring Huggy to meet you anyway.
