Robson3022 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Well well well this has been offered to me. If it was an estate I'd have snapped it up. It's not so I've said I would put it on here as I thought it top quality autoshite fodder. A good friend has it for sale and has asked if I will polish it (I've reluctantly said yes) but thought I would offer it as is here. 130k Pink Ultra reliable (apparently) Pink CD player Pink AlloysPink June MOT (I think) £500 no offers at this price currently!! More pictures available upon request car is in County Durham. trigger 1
Jim Bell Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Interior pics would be nice. Dont polish it though. Robson3022 1
Robson3022 Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 I agree interior pics would be excellent will have to get them tomorrow. Has a hole in the drivers bolster. Appreciate this is such a lazy ad. Will improve it tomorrow!
Robson3022 Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 I'll have to polish it. Someone buy it to save me!! Reasonably priced?
djimbob Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I actually jumped with fright when I scrolled down to see that paint job, takes years to get it that exquisite, do not polish
Richard Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Has Lacquer Peel bought it yet? Veg friendly but not dog friendly, so he'll be out. I'm actually a bit tempted.
Robson3022 Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 How bigs the dog I'm sure it will fit in the boot?
Pillock Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Can you scourer the bonnet, it looks a bit too red and it's spoiling the car. Robson3022 1
Robson3022 Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 Hmm it's a bit of an optical illusion it's definitely pink!
themildbunch Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Which fuel pump does this have? My L reg Tdi has the earlier pump with a wear prone scaletrix type potentiometer in the top half of it... Often the cause of jerky idle and odd running issues like no throttle response unless you stop the clutch briefly..I fixed mine with a slightly less used eBay pump of the same code but while it runs ok it still doesn't pass the official Bosch test procedure... Great cars though and can get megamiles from the 1Z engine.
Robson3022 Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 Absolutely no idea!! Can try to find out though!
Slartibartfast Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 This would go perfectly with my steering wheel cover
Robson3022 Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 Apologies all but the pink Audi is now red!! It's still for sale. Interior needs a going over. Rusty_Rocket, egg, andrew e and 4 others 7
omegod Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Bit of a transformation there, i'm doing the same on my scirocco and it's fucking mind numbing. What potions did you use on it ? Robson3022 1
Robson3022 Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 Used auto finness stage 1 with a microfibre cutting pad then a hand polish. It's good but not perfect is have liked to have refined it more but time was an issue. I run an employability project as part of a motor vehicle course and have set up a valeting business 1 day a week and deliver it with young people so used this as a training tool today really. There's a good 2 days work in the car to have it at its best but this is all we had time for. What are you trying to use OMEgod?
omegod Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Clayed it with a meguars bar, mopped with Farecla G3 with a Clarke machine polisher. I thought it looked crap until I hit it with autoglym super resin polish tonight and it's come up really well. Robson3022 1
Robson3022 Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 G3 is a bit old school and horrifically messy I find. Rotary is brave as well. I let the kids loose with DA's today as there pretty much idiot proof. Super resin hides a multitude of sins for a bargain price. Think it's deffo worth a space in the cupboard. If your going to machine polish it's worth gettin a clay mit there so much faster than a bar. (Apologies if I'm saying things you already know)
