Wanted Tipo glass needed

Mawning Shiters,

 

Our old Tipo has been broken into by some ham fisted kids, pissed out of their minds.

 

Aside from the body damage, they smashed the Nearside door glass - and I can't find another! All those on EBay won't post glass, and I can't trace any in the south

 

So, asking if anyone knows of or has one they can get to Sussex,

for reasonable remuneration?

 

Assistance appreciated, if poss, chaps. Need to do this quick.

Nigel, can you whack a skillfully crafted piece of perspex in there as a short term measure to keep weather and returning pissed kids out until replacement glass can be sourced?

I will if necessary, but distance is the prob right now! The family have plastic bagged it, for now.

I have some glass I got from Vin, that we think is from a Tipo he broke a while ago.. I am also not far from Langar, however I am currently working around 12hrs a day, so logistics are tricky. I'll have a think.

I can get to that breakers in Nottingham on Friday most likely, I can get it somewhere south over the weekend but I'd need some sort of relay as can't get it to Sussex.

Hmmm, that doesn't look like the glass I have, maybe mine isn't Tipo ... or possibly 3dr, not 5.

Sounds like you're sorted with the ebay one, however I'll PM you my mobile number in case it turns out to be a dead end - I can always divert past Langar on my way home Friday from Nottingham and work out where to get it to in a southerly direction.

Chris, that looks like Panda glass...I didn't think it was at the time I gave you the spares as I didn't recall having any. I have since remembered I got a rotten door about 15 years ago, it could have come from that. The other bits should be Tipo though...
