So over tea in work this afternoon one of the girls in work told me she bought a new car. The reason being her old one "just stopped working"

As scrap is on its arse she was going to have to pay to have it towed away.

So long story short Ive been given a free car!

To make this more interesting she left it where it expired and she cant remember the exact location.

Ive never seen the car before

It's a Vauxhall

It doesn't work

Prior to it not working she topped the oil up with 2 stroke oil

The heater is bust

The windscreen isn't fitted properly

On the plus side its got a years MOT

Hoping to first find it then tow home this weekend. WCPGW

She has kindly offered to remain the owner of said vehicle for doovla purposes (her exact response was "whatever") so I HAZ TAKE ME HOME TAX.

 

I've known her for a few years (even managed her for a while) so am content this is an honest disposal.

 

And yes it is a Vauxhall, its definitely shite and no one has guessed what it is yet either. Its been described as a sort of pink colour. Its also been described as "awful" by all of my colleagues who have been in it. Including its owner.

 

She says the EML has been on for ages and it was making odd noises before expiring.

Its not pogweasel. Well it might be, but its not naturally red. I think its more a burgundy colour.

 

I really wish it was a cav but sadly not. I think it might make cavcraft jealous though

thankfully its not that exact one. Having said that mine might be worse.......

 

collectioning has been planned for tomorrow. Father will be in attendance with a shonky tow rope. I hope* to get it started but towing is likely to be on the cards.

 

To save any calamity ill tow it to my grans house which is only around the corner (ish!)

 

I do have a message to run up that way later with SWMBO so I might try and find it tonight, and chance starting it.

 

Any ideas for cheap day insurance?

I have an idea of its general location, its abandoned on one of many side streets off a main road a mere* 3 miles from my gran.
