EDIT EDIT EDIT - No more bids, ta.

It is ain't already a tradition to hawk around early noughties Beemers for nowt, then it bloomin well should be.  This one is my bro's.  It has lightly dented dark blue paint.   It has grubby pale blue/grey cloth seats.  It goes sort of OK ish (1.8 four pot with five speed manual).  It judders at 75 ish (a usual thing, perhaps).    The aircon ain't working.   Handbook, warning triangle, toolkit, glovebox torch, one key.  The tyres are a mixed bag, mostly Wan Hang Lo Hedgebuster SportMax Ultrabollocks or similar.

Located two miles from J6 M40.  Some  MoT, I think, will check.

Price:  BIG FAT FOOK ALL.  Available to certified shiters only. Come and get it.

Also some judder with firm braking, I should add.   Still stops, though.

Remind me where you are, PBK? I've got a trip to West London on the company one day this week, I seem to remember you're somewhere near the smoke - and I come down the M40.

If it's likely to make the journey to M40 J3 then I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

I reckon it would go that far.  I may go and jump start it in a bit, as has not run since November.  Will need to be going to a pre booked MoT if after 26 Jan.

its like XTREME GUMTREE this, the car's free but folk only want it if it can be delivered to their flippin front porch

Posted

I don't want it, but nice one on the good deed BV

How do you know I had a porch. Is you snoopin' bruv?

Posted

What kind of crazy dimension is it we live in where BMW 316is are being given away free?

Even more insane is that I don't want it. But good show, old bean, anyway.

I know someone who would love that.

(no, it's not me)

PM incoming!

Depends on your definition of covering costs then PBK, as I'd need to get from your gaff to Acton at about 6am, and then from Acton back to BV72's gaff where I would have had to leave my car somewhere in order to get home. How free would you like your free car? :)

Well if it's being delivered, I'll have it if someone will bring it to Shetland. Free local beer, sheep and puffin poo provided.

This site just keeps getting better, always a plethora of decent, cheap cars available and now a FREE BMW :-)

Matey in Iver (Slough) will take it.

Next couple of days okay....or tomorrow night?

I have to do a school run in the other free Beemer  (the big purple one), so back later, shed pesterers.

Happy to collect it tomorrow evening if the car starts and will drive 20 miles but I really don't need a fifth car and I'd only be doing this because I can and it's a free car.

I'm as happy to stand aside if someone who actually needs this car wants it and will collect it without giving the giver-away any grief.

I await instructions.

If anyone else gets it, I'm going to post up to random insults and call the lucky new owner a W4NKR.

Is that how things are done?

Looks a decent motor for nowt. I am interested but I reckon insurance may be steep. Good luck to new owner

Pillock Delivery Service cancelled, I've just looked at my diary and Tuesday I'm off t'Albert Hall after work so need a vehicle at work rather than miles away. Sorry Ken :(

Yes please, I'm know I'm late to the party, but a big yes please.

If nobody is up for this fully I need a set of wheels while my Citroen XM is unborked, which may take some time. Saying that I've always fancied a BEEMer

Crikey. New style reg number, lots of butttons on the dash and minimal piss staining to the drivers seat - Its literally a brand new car as far as I am concerned. For FREE!

If I were in the country, I would throw a sickie from work tomorrow and train it to wherever BV is regardless of distance.

The offer was hugely appreciated Mr P. I thank you mightily.

Alas, my porch looks forlornly at a blue BMW that buggers off into the distance  :D

If Blakey or Lankytim don't take this, I will.

Not a huge fan of the E46 it has to be said but I fear I may need a set of wheels in the very near future as the KV6 is starting to make some very unnerving noises now.

However, the KV6 is still going and I really only have one space for a car so I'd rather Blakey or Lankytim jump at the chance first.

Happy to pick people up from Wycombe or Maidenhead train stations after work/lunchtime and drive them to bvs if needed!
